Girl in power

Chapter one "Rose come one we gonna be late." Mandy yelled standing by the door waiting with her husband Chris, Rose's father. "Your daughter doesn't respect the most important factor in life, one thing that you'll never recover no matter how hard you work or how wealthy you are. Time Mandy, Time!" Says Chris while scrolling through his email. Chris was a big time businessman, he owns oil companies across the world and like any other man in this community he is the provider in the family while his wife is a house wife like the rest of the women in the community. Today was a big day for Rose, she is graduating from high school then will attend a formal party where single working man come to choose their potential wives that have graduated.  "Done, how do I look?" Asked Rose, still standing in front of her bedroom door. " ohhh... You look beautiful honey you definitely getting a husband to night! " Exclaim Mandy seeing her daughter. "You think so mom?" Ask Rose. "Definitely my sweet angle." Rose was beautiful young lady, responsible and humbled. "Come on girl let move." Says Chris to his wife and daughter. Rose was wearing a red long gown showing her petite body, exposed back and her long flawless leg. With pure gold earrings matching her necklace and bracelet, while holding her black handbag matching her black heels. They walk to their car a silver grey Rolls Royce and their drive start driving. Chris on the passenger seat and the two ladies at the back. After 30 minutes they arrived at Rose's school. The ceremony when well and Rose got two awards in Businesses Management and Finance, its a pity she wont use it since she will just marry someone that will be capable of taking over her father's businesses because she is the only child but she was okay with that cause it's was their culture. After the ceremony they went to the after party.  Her Parents dropped her of and returned to home. Rose walked in shyly went toward the drinks and got herself a glass of champagne and set down. She looked around and saw her class mate having fun, some were drinking in groups and some mingling with guys until her eyes landed to this hot, clean guy seeming to be approaching her. "Hi, im Mason King." Says the Mr hot greeting Rose. "Hi im Rose Knight. " Rose responding. "You look a bit lost Miss Knight." Mason giving a sexy smile to Rose, and she got a chance to look at his face. He was beautiful if you can say that to a guy, he had sexy deep green eyes thick eyebrows long lashes with brown neat hair and white teeth. And she couldn't stop admiring him. "And you are beautiful. I..... I m-meant nice meeting you Mr King, i was just checking things out since i just arrived. " Stuttering Rose answer but quickly recovering from self embarrassment. "I see Miss Knight. And i must say i have been called many things but beautiful. " smirking Mason looking at Rose brown eyes. "Listening Rose I saw you across the room and i was mesmerised by your beauty and i would love to get to know you better." Masom telling Rose. "Straight to the point i see." Rose smilling, she liked a man with confidence and know what he wants." Yes when i see what i want i don't waste time. I saw you and i want you to be mine and mine alone." "... I." And Rose was cut short but Mason. "And you will be mine that a promise. Mine to have take care of, provide for and love." And she was taken away,  she didn't believe her mother when she told her that she will get someone today. "I would like to get to know you too. Before Mason can say anything Rose's phone rang, she took a look at it and it was her father. "Yes daddy,  okay im coming now." Mason rise his left eyebrow. "Sorry that was my Dad and i have to go." "Ok i will drive you im also leaving since i have got what i came here for." Mason say with a smirk.  They walk outside and Mason approached a black Lamborghini open a passenger door for Rose and she went in and he closed the door for her. He got in and start driving towards the exit. "Put in your address angel." She did as told." Also put in your cell number so i can be able to contact you anytime. " handing her his phone and she also did as told. "There you go all done." She gave his phone back. "Thank you angel. And we are here." "Thank you for driving me back." Says Rose. "Pleasure is all mine and now i know where you live." They say their good bye and Rose went in. "Im home." She says with a smile, Mandy cam to the view. "I take it you had fun judging by you smile." Mandy saying. "Yes mom and i met someone, I'm sure you're going to love him for me." Mandy smile at her daughter. "I'm happy for you honey that means i should start with the wedding arrangements. Ohh god im gonna be a granny sooner than I thought, im so happy." Hugging her daughter. " woooh not so fast and dad said to see him, so im going to him." Walking toward her dad's office "Dad you called for me." "Yes tomorrow you are going with me to work since you will be taking over the company. " Chris says standing up "But dad im a girl i can't work, it's against our culture and let alone take over from you that too much i cant do that and besides i think i have found someone and i sure he can take care of the company." Rose sitting down looking at her father. "No! Im not letting someone  I don't don't know take over my company and besides i think you are more than capable we just have to teach you how to respect time. And anyone who has a problem with that must come to me! Now go rest we have an early day tomorrow. " Rose left for bed but she couldn't sleep a wink.
