“You are saying non-sense! Just get out!”—Leila Arsenas

“Not until I get what I want from you…!!!”— Catalina

“Hmmmmm…it is really good to be back..” – Catalina

SANHIA POV

“Feeling pretty? Yet doesn’t have any boyfriend, so tell me, little girl, when did you ever get laid huh?”

“You think you’re great coz you are still a virgin? Or you are just an insecure little girl that no matter how she wants to be part of the crowd, no one wants to sleep or even touch your body!”

I just get out of the car thinking about those words that Mhavel said to me! That woman is really getting into my nerves!

Even I don’t know where to go; I just keep on walking away from her though I noticed her following me.

“People like me like what, a w***e, slut, really? Fine I am! But how about you, why can't you accept the insecurities within you, that whenever you see someone higher and pretty than you, you get jealous and envious!” she said still following me but I turn her away and was about to cross the road when I didn’t notice a truck that is going to hit me so I just close my eyes thinking I will be thrown away but I am surprised when two warm arms pulled me from the road and now hugging me tightly.

When I open my eyes I am now literally staring at her which I can see she is too, I don’t know why but my anger and emotion are all gone while being wrapped by her, s**t, not again, I can't be like this or I will end up being hurt again… still, I can't help myself but feel relax with her arms but this good feeling was suddenly taken away by the loud sound of the car behind us and reality hits so we detached right away.

Honestly, I am in the red face now and I need to calm myself from this awkwardness so I just walk towards the car without facing her.

We travel the road going to the said church and when we get there Mhavel can't help but face me.

“Look, I am sorry, I know we will never get along and yes you are right that I need you for this, but you see, it also helps your father somehow, so can we just do settle our arguments next time once all these things are fix,” she said and I can sense her sincerity and besides she is right I guess we both need to fix everything first.

When we get to the church we both surprised when Savin points a gun at us, he can't seem to believe what we say that we are not bad people, I even told him that I am the daughter of the Janitor, good thing Jhonny called me.

“Hello,” I said

“I already got access from there, somehow we are now watching what the three of you doing and your Mom request Minerva to talk to Mr. Savin so can you give the phone to him?” he said

“Then make sure to record their call,” I said

“Sure will Sanie” he said

“Alright I will hand the cellphone to him,” I said then walk towards Savin

“Here, someone wants to talk to you,” I said then give the cellphone to him

He looks unsure but still gets the cellphone and talks to Minerva.

After he talks to Minerva we both noticed how he became calm, so it is true of what I said and suspects, he is indeed in love with her, hmmm f*****g love, it is even not helping anyway!

Yes I may be sound bitter but what can I do, this is what love makes me feel!

Mhavel suggested a safe place for us three to talk, and I was stunned to see a cemetery in front of my eyes.

“The safe place you are pertaining to is a cemetery?” I said in surprised

“What? Is there anyone who can think of this here? Even you didn’t expect that right?” she proudly said and I didn’t disagree anymore, I mean when I will ever win over her!

Then we enter the mausoleum and were shocked to see the look inside, it wasn’t even like a mausoleum at all, It seems like a condo unit with a very classic style.

Mrs. Bernards picture is in the center area which Savin is kept on looking however, I am now busy trying to listen to Savin and Minerva’s call record on my phone and Jhonny has one too.

I listened to it…

“Minerva! Are you okay? Did they hurt you? Where are you?” –Savin

“ I—I am okay, I am safe here though I am scared, some men try to kill me” – Minerva

“I know, it is the Arsenas, they aim for your death, though how did you escape?”— Savin

“Ms. Bernards and Ms. Almoral save me, if it is not for them I may be dead by now, they are a good person” –Minerva

“Still, we can't just trust them, but as of now the important is you are safe, I will do my best to get you and we will both escape the Arsenas”— Savin

“Hmmm, I will agree on that but please let me help Sanhia and Mhavel, please help them defeat the Arsenas, help them buried down the true evil, Arlene is already dead, I am felt sorry about her, so please Arsenas needs to be stopped!”— Minerva

“Alright then I will give them what they need to know to defeat the Arsenas but please be careful”—Savin

“I will and please you too…I have so much to thank you Morgan”— Minerva

Wow! Such a feeling between them yet can't be told within their mouth…

I am busy listening to the records when I heard Mhavel and Savin’s talk

“I must face her, I need to know what connection she has with my Mom!” Mhavel said

“It is not easy as that, Mrs. Arsenas is not just delusional, coz when she is normal she is not easy to deal with, especially her secret army…and they only aims to have is to get the person who owns the green eye” Savin explains that shock us.

I and Mhavel are now looking at each other, we are not sure if that green eye is really her, maybe they are pertaining to someone like her, I mean it is not sure yet if she is the only one having those mysterious eyes.

“Green eye…? Did she mention anything about that? I mean what does my Mom has to do with that?” Mhavel said still trying to act normal

“No she didn’t mention anything about it but she keeps mentioning your Mom, it seems like she possessed what Mrs. Arseanas is looking for, both of you need to listen to this, it may sound impossible and unbelievable but Mrs. Arsenas is practicing inhumane works, there are people whom they abduct, at first I don’t know what are they going to do with them until they let me get in the underground laboratory where all the half human-monster is being kept, they are not that much but she said that a lot is still around and just hiding their true form, all of that kind in Mrs. Arsenas possession is already under her authority, they follow what she is telling them” Savin explains that left a huge shock on our faces.

So it is true, what the batwoman told us, there is a lot more.

Damn! What is really going on now in this world!

“ That is indeed a shocking revelation, though we can't just stop coz of that, there will always be few people who can handle those monster if ever, now, I have a question,” Mhavel said then look at me and head her way to her bag and pick the picture with me my parents and her Mom with a woman in black behind us.

“What is it?” Savin ask

“Here, do you know her?” Mhavel handed him the picture

Savin looks carefully at the picture seems like he is trying hard on his memory to remember her.

“I try my best to recognize her but I saw her before, even visiting Mrs. Arsenas, if may I ask who is she?” Savin said

“The person who killed my mother, though at the back of that picture my Mom handwritten is in there, she wrote that she mentions the Arsenas” she said

“I guess she really meant my bosses on this but I swear to my heart I never seen her before,” he said

“How about the name Catalina Perse, do you somehow heard this name?” I said when I suddenly walk towards them

I can see the disappointment in Mhavel’s face so I instead do the questioning.

“No, I never heard that name as well,” he said

“But Minerva knows Catalina, she said that this Ms. Perse visits Mrs. Arsenas before,” I said

“Leila never mention that to me, she is just always mentioning Samantha’s name,” he said

“Well, I guess this thing is getting nowhere, though you can still help us, is there any possible way I can set a meeting with Mrs. Arsenas?” Mhavel said

“On that part, it may not be easy, you should have at least good reason, she is very avoidant, Samuel her husband, on the other hand, is just a puppet for her, he just follow all her commands so I guess you can give me a valid reason first if you want to meet her,” he said and I get that part, Carsen Construction has been SGC and BCC competitor for almost two years, and I heard the owner never attend any kind of parties and events even their company is invited only the head manager of the company is usually who appear.

“Well then, you said that she is mentioning my Mom then tell her that her daughter is keen to meet her,” Mhavel said that shocks me

“No…!! that may be dangerous! You cant let her know that you are her daughter, we don’t know yet what is she really up to, you can't just decide like that!” I said while looking seriously at her

I can see how her eyes left staring at me, at a minimum of seconds our eyes are fighting against each other, I try to hold of myself looking at her but she is way serious than me now, she didn’t even blink an eye or something until suddenly she just sits at the couch then cross her legs

“Fine, so tell me what is it your best idea then?” she suddenly asks that stunned me

Fuck! I don’t even know what to answer honestly, though I have something in mind, maybe we can use the company to trigger the Carsen construction that they will be the one to meet us.

On that part, I already know what to do.

“I guess I can make the Carsen Construction owner get out of their safe box” I smilingly said while looking straight at Mhavel

“How I don’t think they will bite it,” he said

“Carsen Construction is a shining glory of Arsenas, yes they have money but if we cut its source then their attention will be ours, though Mhavel, I guess I may need a Boss this time,” I said and she just smiles before she speaks

“You know very well I am good at that,” she said then gives me a wink then get up and go to the kitchen and get a bottle of wine

“Wine…? What for…?” I ask

“Relax why we don’t chill a little,” she said then prepares the glasses for us.

I guess I cant stop her anymore, maybe she is right it has been a long day today.

After chilling a little Mhavel bring me to my room for tonight.

We are standing at the balcony and it is literally peaceful here I mean you wouldn’t hear anything at all just a deep breath of this woman beside me.

“Hey, it may be a little blurry finding the truth right now but I know things will get better soon,” I said and she just stares at me which I don’t know why and then she starts to talk still looking straight at me.

“I have something to tell you” she seriously said

“What is it?” I ask

“Hmmm… I know who you are, I know what you do and your parents together with Jhonny, I know that you are a real thief and so as your family” she said that widened my eye though not because she already knows but because she let me know it which I already know that she has an idea.

“I know…so, how is it now? Should I pass my resignation tomorrow?” I ask but she just smiles at me

“Just park that for a while, but I rather hired you for another position,” she said that confuse me

“What is it?” I ask

“Be my personal assistant for good” she said that stoned me, I mean how come she even want me to be her personal person after I am revealed.

“What is that supposed to mean?” I ask in confusion

“Because I don’t want you to break my trust again, so instead be my trustworthy person in my life, shall I discuss the Job offer?” she said and swear I am really surprised with it, something within me is shouting in happiness for the reason that I don’t know.

“I expect a high salary boss” I smilingly said then walk away from the balcony and head my way to my room

“Just as what you deserve, and one more thing…” she said that makes me look back to her waiting for what she is about to say

“Thank you for being with me”

She said and I just smile…
