ARSENAS BUILDING 2013

“ Hello Mr. Savin Mrs. Arsenas is waiting for you”— Minerva

“Oh yeah sure, Ahmmm, well before that, ahmm I have two movie tickets here, my sister isn’t able to be with me, maybe if you want you can join me, just in case you want”—Morgan

“Ahhmm sure, I have nothing to do today after work”— Minerva

“W-what happen? Oh my God! You stabbed!” – Morgan

“Yes sir, the police found the Janitor here, and they said he was the one who did all of this”— Medical team

“I am sorry sir but we must bring her to the hospital”— Police

MHAVEL POV

“Daaaddd…!!! Please help!!! Daaadd…”

The girl shouts as she tries to follow the car that just left.

Sanhia head her way to the apartment trying to calm her

“Tell us, what happens?” I ask

She just looks at us, her gesture seems scared, of course, she doesn’t know who we are damn!

“Hey, we are Arlene’s friend! And we heard what happen to her so we try to get here and check what is going on” I explain

Sanhia just give me a look and I can see she agrees with what I said

“ahmmm we are not a bad person, we just know your sister so we are here to see if you guys are okay though, we want to help her more, I mean to find the killer who did that to her and we need your help” Sanhia explains

“Well, why don’t we start by telling us what happen earlier?” I ask and Sanhia just rolled her eyes on me again that I didn’t mind duh!

“I am Armina hmmm sob*sob*, I am her younger sister but we have a younger brother as well, we just got from the chapel where Arlene’s body is being held, then we are all frightened to see three men waiting on our door, Dad tries to talk to them but they hit him in the head and lift him towards outside so I try my best to fight them but they are just pushing me until they get to the car bringing my Dad” the girl explains while crying

“Do you recognize them?” I ask

“Yes, but I don’t know who are they only their faces,” the girl said

“We will find it out, though we want to ask you things,” I said

“About what?” she ask back

“Arlene mention to us about her resignation at Arsenas company way back five years ago, but she didn’t tell us the clear story, she just told us that she felt something a little different there, if she told you something about it, maybe you can share it to us, maybe it is related to what happens to her,” Sanhia said in a low tone voice

Wow, she really good at this huh…

“You know that too? Hmmm she left that company after she saw that her female Boss killed the guard in fire exit, she was so shocked that time, Mom and Dad couldn’t do something about it so they let her be cured by those spiritual doctors in our province and they mention she was cursed by some evil spirit though by staying there at the province somehow Arlene becomes okay again” she explains

“Spiritual doctor, Wow, I didn’t know there is such a thing,” I said

“Yes, they even mention about that portal, they didn’t clearly tell us about it only the part that it isn’t normal in this world anymore because of that portal, monster and spirits will be around us soon and no one can stop it, I didn’t listen to that since it is hard to believe but when I saw Arlene’s body, her internal organs are all wrecked seems like she was eaten by a monster, hmmm sob*sob* I am so scared” she explains while hugging Sanhia

I didn't ask the further question anymore though we must need to go back to Sanhia’s house, there is a lot that we need to know, the abductors of their father and the Attorney of Arsenas which is seemingly looking for Minerva

We just make sure the safety of the girl and I called some of my dad’s men to look after her before we leave.

We drive back to Sanhia’s house and while on the road someone called her.

“Hey Jhonny, what is it?” Sanhia ask

Then she looks at me and put it on a loudspeaker

“You both need to listen, Mr. Savin is in the back of an old church of st. Fatima in Estrella st., Mr. Savin wants to negotiate regarding Minerva, so what should I respond to him?” Jhonny ask

Sanhia was about to speak when I interrupted her and instead talk to Jhonny

“Tell him that we are on the way to the church and Jhonny better give us information about the place, if you can hack all the CCTV or any possible way that you can view our transaction with him just do so please thanks,” I said and I can see that Sanhia is just staring at me with her mouth open.

“Hey, talk to him now I just said what I need to say,” I said and she just rolled her eyes at me

“Well what can I say, just do what she says kid, “ she said then drop the call

“Feel pissed? I just talk to your boyfriend about the situation nothing more don’t be jealous!” I said then laugh

“Excuse me! Will you stop that! And why would I be jealous? To someone like you, come on, I don’t think so” she said which hit the deepest insecure I have, f**k this b***h!

“Feeling pretty? Yet doesn’t have any boyfriend, so tell me, little girl, when did you ever get laid huh?” I ask and she suddenly burst out and shouts at me

“You f*****g slut! You have no idea who I am and what I am right now that is because I am not pathetic who is hungry for a c**k!” she said that stops me, and I literally stops the car

“What did you say? I am a slut? Hungry for a c**k wow! Look at you, you think you’re great coz you are still a virgin? Or you are just an insecure little girl that no matter how she wants to be part of the crowd, no one wants to sleep or even touch your body!” I said which I am really mad right now!

Her insecurities is really eating her alive, I don’t care if she will get hurt with what I said, I was hurt too!

“This whole thing is just a bad idea, why did I say yes in helping you, I should trust my instinct, I shouldn’t trust a person like you!” she said then open the door and get out of the car.

Damn! What is she trying to do now? I really want to leave her but I don’t know why I couldn’t! f**k this b***h damn it!

I can't help but to get out of the car and follow her

“People like me like what, a w***e, slut, really? Fine I am! But how about you, why can't you accept the insecurities within you, that whenever you see someone higher and pretty than you, you get jealous and envy!” I said still following her

“Stop following me would you!” she said while still walking away from me

She was about to cross the road when a fast white truck is approaching and about to hit her so I did my best to run towards her and pulled her to me, I am literally hugging her now which is a bad idea since I know that she is really mad at me but what I saw in her is the opposite, I can see how she stares at me, her soft and dazzling eyes that I barely see in her, I don’t know what kind of feeling I have right now but I can't seem to avoid her eyes I am now looking at her as well.

We are in the same position when a sudden loud sound from the next car behind is awakening us, it actually brings us to reality, and she just let go of my arms so I did the same.

We are both silents for a minute and honestly, I don’t want to talk as well all I want is to get to the location of Savin.

“Look, I am sorry, I know we will never get along and yes you are right that I need you for this, but you see, it also helps your father somehow, so can we just do settle our arguments next time once all these things is fixed,” I said and she didn’t answer me and just head her way back to my car without saying anything.

Along the road, we got to the place without any conversation and she just gets out in the car quietly

“He is at the back of the church,” I said and so we walk towards there, honestly there is no person around this church maybe that is why he chooses here.

We are now at the back area and we keep on looking around for him then suddenly we heard a voice

“So it is the both of you! Who kidnapped Minerva” Savin said while pointing a gun that shocks us

“What is the gun for Savi—“ Sanhia said when Savin stop her from talking and then pull a trigger

“—Shut up!!!” he shouts then shot somewhere and I can see it startle Sanhia

“You stupid asshole, Do you think you may able to see Minerva if you hurt us? You fool!” I said

“Shut the f**k up! Where is Minerva? Give her back to me!” he said while madness is all over his face

“It is you… I knew it, Minerva wasn’t protected by the Arsenas but you, you stayed working for them to protect her did you?” Sanhia said that surprised me, though I still need confirmation from him if she is correct

“Yes! I am!, I spent five years to just protect her, she was lined for an assassination commanded by the Arsenas, they want her dead but I can't let that to happen coz—“ he was cut when I speak

“—Coz you love her! But the question is, does she know the truth? Does she even know that it is not the Arsenas who protected her but you!?” I ask

“It doesn’t matter! What matters is I will sure her safety from Arsenas!” he said

“What do you think she is in danger now? Why don’t you ask her name may be her surname is familiar to you” I said then pointed to Sanhia

He just looks at her and Sanhia just face him, before she speaks

“I am Sanhia Almoral!” she said and I can see the surprise on his face

“W—what did you just say? You are his daughter?” he said

“Yes, and we are here to uncover the truth, Minerva already told us what has really happened five years ago, so I guess you can now put down your gun!” I said

Then Sanhia’s cellphone rings.

“Hello,” she said

Then she talks to the phone and suddenly walks towards Savin

“Here, someone wants to talk to you,” she said then handed the cellphone to Savin

He gets the cellphone though his gun is still ready to shoot us so I prepared for a counter attack anytime.

He starts talking on the phone and I can see the surprised all over his face

“Minerva! Are you okay? Did they hurt you? Where are you?” he continuously asks

So it is her, I guess these two have really something with each other… then suddenly what happened earlier between me and Sanhia pop into my mind, damn! What is it supposed to mean brain!?

While I am fighting with myself Sanhia is now in front of me

“I guess he is not a problem anymore,” she said but honestly I didn’t really mind it as I was distracted by that event between us earlier!

I can see that Savin is now calm and already kept his gun

“If you two need to know everything then we can't talk here, we need to find someplace safe to talk,” he said

“I know a place,” I said

“Well then we need to get hurry, Arsenas is on the heat in finding Minerva and you two, your faces is already target by them so better take care of yourself or else you both want to end up like the girl in the car,” he said that shocks us

“It is Arlene Sapote, you know what happen to her?” Sanhia ask

“Of course, I am always beside them, I know exactly what Mrs. Arsenas is capable of, something a mere people like us couldn’t handle,” he said that confuse me, something we cant handle? What does suppose to mean?

“We better get to the safe place first before talking about things,” Sanhia said looking at me

Then we take the road to my favourite place, the Bernards Cemetery, yes we owe the most expensive, wide and peaceful cemetery in the country but what I really love about that place is exactly where my Moms mausoleums, it is peaceful and safe since it is built in four floors and unlike a typical mausoleum it is most likely a normal house where you can stay.

When we get there, all the bodyguards who are on duty taken care of my Mom’s place greeted us.

“The safe place you are pertaining to is a cemetery?” Sanhia exclaims

“What? Is there anyone who can think of this here? Even you didn’t expect that right?” I said that stops her

As we get in I can see the shock all over their faces which they didn’t expect the looks from inside.

Sanhia is just sitting on the couch and texting on her cellphone when Savin is staring seriously at my Mom’s picture in the center area.

“Why? Do you know her?” I ask

“It is her…she was that person whom Mrs. Arsenas is kept on dreaming of” he said

“What? Why?” I confusingly ask

“She always mentions that something inside her wanted her soul, you see Mrs. Arsenas suffered from a serious delusion after her son’s death, and she keeps on mentioning her name, Samantha…” he said

“Do you know the connection of her to my Mom?” I ask

“I don’t know but she just keeps on mentioning her name,” he said

“I must face her, I need to know what connection she has with my Mom!” I said

“It is not easy as that, Mrs. Arsenas is not just delusional, coz when she is normal she is not easy to deal with, especially her secret army…and they only aims to have is to get the person who owns the green eye,” he said that shocks me and Sanhia

Fuck! So they are really after me!
