CHAPTER 11

MHAVEL POV

After dealing with Sanhia, I get off right away and drive to the Falcon Crimson Hotel, I ride the elevator going to the 10th floor but I notice at the mirrored type of wall of this elevator, my eyes are dashing now, I forget to wear my contact lenses so I must calm myself to retain the normal colour of my eyes.

When I reach the floor, I start looking for their suite and I found it so I knock but no one open, I knock again still nothing then  I was about to knock a third time when I heard a man approaches me.

“Yes?” he said

“Ahmm, I am looking for Arnold De Mesa,” I said

He just looks at me from head to toe then stared at me for a second and that gives me the idea.

It’s him… I said to myself

“Why are you looking for him?” he asks

I just look at him straight and step forward at him before I speak

“You see…I am your wife’s current boss in BCC and we need to talk,” I said that startle him

I can see the tensed in his eyes, a sudden sweat at his temple before he wipes it.

“What it is that you want to discuss?” he asks

“She didn’t die in suicide she was murdered,” I said that makes him swallowed his throat

“I don’t know what you are talking about, we saw her hanging at the ceiling now if you don’t mind I better get going,” he said and was about to hold the knob of his suite when I said something

“She was being disturbed by spirit entity does she?” I said that stops him and throw me a piercing look

“H-How did you—“he was about to ask me when I cut him from talking

“—So you really know what is going on with her the time she was still alive until you killed her,” I said and I can see how startled he is but later becomes calm when he started to talk

“Yes I know what is going on with her, we can discuss inside but not here,” he said and even I am not sure what will happen to me when I get in, though I still pursue it.

We enter the suite and I didn’t see any children so that is the first thing I ask.

“Where are the kids?” I ask

“They are not here, it is not safe for them, and besides I still need to work, I just got from my duty,” he said then invite me to sit

“I see, so what is really going on with her? How did you know the entity disturbing her?” I straightforwardly ask

He tries to compose himself before opening his mouth and swallow his throat

“There is no entity…she was the monster herself, I just met her six years ago, the kids are mine, we get married after one year of our relationship, she was this funny, happy and nice but as the year goes by, she became different, until one night, I saw her changing, she became that monster, she tries to tell me her story about her being not a human but a human wolf, she said she was just lost from their world and got here, as she grows up she can now control herself and remained human but not for long, she begin to act weird and even transform that soon my kids was put in danger, she quit working which is I believe would help her retain her humanity mingling with human, I didn’t really believe in that but when I actually saw her transform and  almost kill me I come up with the idea of putting a recording inside the house about her action and I saw how she was being invaded by her real identity, I try to do some ritual of prayer that would keep her humanity but I failed and she attacked me and I have no choice but to fight for myself and so I accidentally killed her but I became weak…and make all like a suicide hmmmmm….sob*sob*…I don’t how will I tell the authorities..” he explains when he suddenly burst out a tears

So the videos and those things scattered around were his doing damn! How come there is really such a creature, I can't believe it but remembering that human-like mouse left me no choice but to believe.

I am in the middle of my thought when I remember the recorder that I brought but dang he was done talking, how I can make him talk now! Shiit!!

“Alright, but if I will ask you, will you turn to the police if it is sure that they won’t ask you a further question?” I ask

“Yes, I can turn myself in but I am too scared to tell those things, I don’t know how will I turn myself without any question,” he said then crumpled his hair

“I think I can help you, here, I will record your voice telling me that you killed her, we will let them know I secretly recording you so they won’t need to ask you further” I explain that I think he gets

“Alright, I will do it, but please I have one favour to ask, help my children, please….” He said and I guess I have no choice

“I will take care of everything on them” I said then I turn on the recorder

“We fight a lot and so I accidentally killed her,” he said that makes me smile and was about to get up when I started feeling heavy again.

My back starts to bend and I feel like burning within..

“I must own this body! I must get her power!!!” I burst out which is I don’t know why I didn’t even say that!

I still fight the thing within me. I am now pretty sure I am possessed again but I suddenly stopped fighting with myself when I realized something

Shit….this monster spirit is no other than Susan! f**k!

Uuuugghhhhh….!! I am still getting a hold of myself but she is so strong wanting to get into my body

I try to push away Arnold since this is Susan; I guess she is mad at him…then when I was about to grab him I stop my hand that makes the recorder drops at the floor, it was paused and I couldn’t get it

“A-Arnold….get your ass out of here while I can still hold myself, she is invading me…” I try to say

“Who is?“ He asks

“Your wife…!!! So better run!!” I shout then gives all my strength to fight it, I reached for the recorder and play then leaned myself at the table with the mirror and saw that my eyes is turning green, every time it turns like that Susan couldn’t possess me but I was shocked when she is about to possess him I cover myself before him then push him at the door.

On that part, I didn’t know what happens next.

I was awakened at the ground here outside, then saw Sanhia was being held in the neck by Arnold, he is about to stab her when I pulled him and kick his head then another kicked at his stomach that weakens and throws him away.

He was about to attack me when Sanhia touches his face and suddenly he passed out and drops to the ground.

At this point that I get intense, I am not sure about the colour of my eyes, that is why when Sanhia is talking to me I couldn’t face her but when she noticed that I am avoiding her I heard her footstep walking towards me so I quickly let out my cellphone and look at the reflection that shocks me when Sanhia pulled my shoulder to look at her and thank God it back to normal.

I sneak on my cellphone and I have seen that it turns black again.

I felt pissed at her nosy attitude so I shout at her by doing that then walk away when she asks me a question.

“What was happen back there?” she suddenly asks that stops me from walking

I explain to her what happen and still highlight the fact that Arnold is the killer, I tend to keep the truth on Sanhia since it is actually non-sense to talk about anymore besides it wasn’t recorded the time he told me everything.

I give her the recording though I didn’t listen to it yet, it will all in her hand now, and I hope she will do what should do.

She is right, it’s been a long day for me and it is almost late now when I got home.

I just do the shower and freshen up myself; I pour some wine and sit at my chair facing the window.

“Hey Mom, I just did something you can be proud of, I help someone that I didn’t know would be the killer, I just help the killer that what we all know the victim… I hope you are here to listen to me, Mom…” I said to myself than drink my wine; suddenly I heard the lower cabinet opened.

I walk towards it and saw a white notebook.

It is lock and I don’t know where the key is then a picture from the closed pages suddenly drops.

I saw my mom’s picture together with a couple with a child, I don’t know them but I noticed a woman standing behind them looking straight at mom.

When I try to look further I was shocked to see her face, I can't be wrong, it is her, the woman who killed my mother!

I try to look at the back of the picture and it says “Thank you Ms. Samantha for the help, please keep this picture as a sign of our friendship” I guess this was from the couple in the picture

Then at the very end part, it is Mom’s handwritten, “So you’ve been following me ever since Arsenas!”  The way I can sense the mood of mom in her note I believe she is all mad at this Arsenas…

Fuck, who is this Arsenas? Is that the name of a woman in black? s**t! I am not familiar with this word or name or surname…shit…!!! It is! It’s probably a surname.

I search on the net and found out that there is one famous Arsenas here, the Carsen construction corporation, they are also known as Arsenas engineering company before but becomes Carsen today.

No further details on it, damn! I need to know her! I must find the truth! Then I thought of seeking Sanhia’s help though I am having a second thought, we don’t really get along and most of the time I treat her rudely the same way she treated me like the hell I am her f*****g boss!!

I exclaimed to myself while trying to calm myself, I need to persuade her, she was the jewel of SGC I believe she also has the idea of its competitors also with the BCC.

Damn, I must do something to console her; I need to be at least nice to hear!

I try to dial her number and luckily she answers

“Hello,” she said

“Thanks for looking after me earlier and I am sorry for what happen, you see I just want to give justice about my mother’s death, she wasn’t died by illness she was killed by that woman in black that approaches and whispered to her, after that she acts weird and later get sick and weak then die, not everything that we see within our eyes is real, sometimes the truth is just buried deep down within, Goodnight Sanhia”

I just quickly but emotionally said, I thought I will just persuade her but I kind of biting my own words especially when the subject is my mom, I can't let her know my emotion so I just end the call after saying those words.

I just drop my body on my bed looking at the ceiling, I must find what has been really going on with you mom.

Since it has been a long day for me yesterday I just woke up a little late, I receive a lot of messages from Sanhia looking for me.

I give her a call and she immediately answers it,

“Where the hell are you? There is a lot of works to do!” she said like she didn’t even realize that I am actually her boss!

Damn If I only don’t need you b***h! I compose myself and tries to calm before answering her

“I am sorry Sanhia, it been a long day yesterday and I just overslept, but I will be fixing my things now, just give me 45 minutes,” I said then end the call

“The heck, I was supposed to shout on her!” I said to myself then just breathe out a huge air

I fix myself in just 20 minutes and head my way to the office.

I brought some coffee to complete my acting on her.

When I enter the office she is so busy answering phones and so I walk straight to her table then put the coffee and she just gazes at me wearing a surprised face.

When she ends the call I manage to speak before her

“That is White Choco mocha latte, I hope you like it,” I said with a smile

“Well…thank you..” she just said then sit while still throwing me a weird look.

A little later, I walk towards her to start asking my agenda on her.

“Ahmm, may I ask you something…” I said

“Yes Ma’am?” she said without looking at me though I was surprised by what she calls me since yesterday night

“Well, what do you know about Carsen Construction company?” I ask that make her gaze at me

“Why? I mean this sudden question?” she asks still having her nosy cat attitude

“Well I saw them on TV and they are also famous for this kind of business, are they our competitors?” I explain and ask

“Yes they are, a close fight competitor of BCC but of course your father is a great businessman and Carsen never had the top position of the annual list of a successful company in this country” she explains

Then I thought of asking her about…

“How about Arsenas?” I ask that surprised her a little

“W-what?” she said while startling

“Yes, Arsenas, I try to search on it and Carsen was the Arsenas before it changes its company name, though I don’t know anything more of—“ I was cut from talking when she suddenly speak

“—so what is this really all about?” she asks in fierce so maybe I don’t have a choice anymore

“She…the woman in black who whispered to my Mom was an Arsenas, I need to find her, I need your help on that,” I said then holds her hand that soften her mood.

“I don’t know either about them but I know who can help us..” she said then picks up her things and get out so I did the same.

I am now literally smiling inside! Just wait for it mom, I will revenge your death.
