What is he doing here?

Upon arriving at the hospital, lessons were already over and everyone had retired to their respective wards to work. Mr F saw me and signalled me to follow him into his office. He is the one in charge of our special study module and also the head of department for surgeries in the hospital. "Mr Kim, I understand you are one of the best students in your class but I utterly believe that you know the importance of coming to my class as well," he said looking at me through his round rimless glasses sitting on the bridge of his nose. "But.....Sir." He held his right index finger towards me silencing me from uttering any other words. Before you say you sent me an email I also want to let you know that I read the email you sent. Also, looking at the time you sent it, I'm quite sure you've just finished completing the assignment. Right or wrong, he added, His words sound terrifying at every sentence. "Rig....right", I stuttered. "You are pardoned for today but next time I wouldn't be lenient with you. If you truly want to graduate, you better take things seriously. No more late night write ups, do you understand? He advised. "You can place your assignment on the table now. He said gesturing towards the pile on the table. I quickly grabbed my bag from behind and took out my file to present my assignment. I gently added it to the others and scurried out of the office. I made my way towards my department's dormitory to change since I swapped with Alex and took his place in the surgery department. I change into my scrubs and put on my lab coat over it and then left the room. As I approached my department, there stood before me - the one person I never thought I would cross path with again. "That young bodyguard? What is he doing here?" I thought. I stood still looking towards him as he stood in front of the intensive care unit....my actual ward. I was wondering whether to make my way forward or retreat until I heard someone calling out my name loudly. "Sydney. Sydney," I panicked. I could not turn to see who it was knowing very well I gave him the wrong name. I began to walk towards him not to alert him of anything but the person kept calling out to me. "Hey, what's wrong with you? Can't you hear me calling?" I felt a hand on my shoulder frightening me. I slowly turned my head and it was her. I sighed. "Heyy! Why did you scare me?" I asked Jayde who stood shocked at my expression. I turned back to see the bodyguard walking towards us. "OH NO!" I blurted out. Jayde also divert her attention towards what I was staring at. "Do you....know him?" She asked staring back at me. Before he could get any closer, I grabbed her by the wrist and walked off towards the fire exit. We stood on the stairs as she intently stared at me - a look that could pierce through my skin. "What are you not telling me? Did something actually happened?" Her expressions were too blunt that I could not keep my mouth quiet. "Listen, Jayde. It's not.... "Jayde!?"
