She set up some of her own stuff. And soon we started the interview.
"What is your name?"
"Liua. Agent 205."
"How did you become an agent?"
"I was taken out of the orphanage. I was 7. After that I was trained and held against my will."
Many many more questions followed. I can see that she was also eager. Yet she was unprepared. I mean who would be when I just showed up.
She was pretty thorough with the questions. She was young yet she knew what to say and ask despite my unannounced visit.
"Is it true that the government is funding this?"
"Yes."
"Is this why you are going after politicians and government officials?"
"Yes. Since I want to find out who is behind all this."
She let me face the camera and let me make an appeal towards the public.
"Please. Hear me out and believe me. I may be a killer, but I am doing it for what is right. Please be with me as I fight for justice. I am not your enemy."
We ended the filming.
"Thank you so much. I appreciate you listening to me."
"As you've said. It is my responsibility."
"Can I get a copy of the video?"
"Sure."
I gave her a memory card and she copied the video to it.
"I will try my best to let the public know."
"Please do. Do you live alone?"
"Yes. But don't worry this appartment is protected."
"Here, call me if you need me."
I hand her my number on a piece of paper.
"I will. Thanks again."
She smiles. I go out of her place and back to hiding.
Days passed, yet no calls or news about me. After that presidential statement, I was out of the news. The video of the show where I first appeared or at least where I revealed myself was also taken down.
People online are also seeing this change. They are suggesting that I was actually right.
Finally things are starting to clear up for me. And people are somewhat on my side now.
I feel more hopefull.
I call Taeyong.
"What do you want? I'm at work."
"How's Lily?"
"She's fine."
I can hear him move to another place.
"hey was that you on that detective show?"
"Yeah. I even had an interview."
"Wow, then where is it?"
"I have no idea. The only ones who knew about the interview were me and the host anyway I guess you do now."
"You should check on the host. See if she's still there."
I go to her place again that night. She opened up.
"I'm so sorry if I can't upload it yet."
"It's fine. Why though?"
"The company is still reviewing it."
"Can I just upload it myself?"
"It will probably get taken down but it might also go viral before that happens."
"I'll do that. Can I borrow your Laptop?"
She nodded.
"I went here since I was worried."
I started uploading it.
"I see. I told you it's safe-"
Someone then opened up her main door.
"Take this and hide."
I hand her the laptop and she soon went under her bed.
I went out of the room.
A guard.
"Agent 205. You are being summoned by the leaders of the organization. Resist and you will die."
"I choose to die."
We start fighting all over the place. I throw him around. But he just wouldn't die.
I pull my g*n but as I pointed it at him. I feel clicks of guns from my back.
"Shoot him and you're dead."
Guards? police?
I fight on and I saw it were more guards.
I had a bit of trouble with fighting them since they were many.
I managed to kill all of them but it was a bit draining.
A lot of people called the police and I was soon running out of time.
I locked the door and got Miss Jang Hong-yi out of there.
Just we ran out of there as she hugged her laptop and all that she needed. We ran to the parking lot of her apartment building.
We got to her car and drove out of there.
"I appologise sincerely for the trouble."
"Well what can I do. As you've said. It's my job."
She just smiles.
I drive on for a while until the farm.
It was pretty silent. Yet not the awkward type of silence.
We arrive at the farm.
"I live here. I hide I mean."
"You will be safer here."
I added.
I soon introduced her to Taeyong and Lily. Lily was a bit shy at first, since she's not used to other people.
but Taeyong. This guy and Hong-yi really hit off from the start.
They actually look good together not gonna lie.
