Eliza´s POV:
Everyone took their seats on the stage, and once the high-ranked members were settled, I was able to sit down too. The moment I sat down next to Jason, Anna bent over, “Eliza, that dress looks great on you. Sorry we couldn’t get ready together,” a look of guilt rolled off her face.
I stretched out my arm, “It’s okay Anna. No hard feelings. Did they give you the Apple cider when you came in?” I didn’t blame Anna, and as far as I’m concerned, we didn’t need to talk about it any longer.
“Yes, thank you for thinking of me,” she said, holding up her glass.
“Serious?” was all Alex said to me through mind link.
