Eliza’s POV:
I didn’t know what happened when Jason buckled over and grabbed his heart.
We wolves don’t get sick that easily, but that doesn’t mean it was impossible, and cardiac arrest was certainly possible. Though Jason was a healthy man, there was no reason for him to suddenly collapse like that.
A happy accident. I was quick. He seemed to know what to do, as if he’d been through this before.
I didn’t hesitate for a second when Ben told me he had to lie down somewhere.
