Jason’s POV:
“FOR REAL?” Ben cries with joy.
I hadn’t finished unwrapping yet, though Ben’s reaction made me look up. Ben held Anna tight and kissed her passionately. While the other hand was holding a piece of fabric. I frowned and looked at Eliza, who was looking at Anna and Ben with sincere happiness. The moment she realized I was looking at her, she motioned for me to continue opening my gift, and I did. It was a mug.
“A mug?”
I thought it was a strange present, and it didn’t make me understand why Ben was so enthusiastic about a piece of fabric.
After all I’d heard and seen today, I longed for Jess. I’d do anything just like the other couples around me to cuddle, kiss, and enjoy life with her.
