Eliza’s POV:
Without saying anything, Ben stood up and walked away. Anna was so exhausted from crying that it took her at least another two hours to finally fall asleep leaning on me.
Food and drink was arranged by Jason while Miles cleared his throat to have a conversation with me. Anna was sleeping next to me, so I didn’t want to disturb her. I wanted her to rest before her doctor’s appointment tomorrow to make a plan.
“Liz, I screwed up, okay? I admit I screwed up. Will you please listen to me?” he begged me.
