Eliza’s POV:
I couldn’t think straight anymore.
Jason had gone to bed late and hadn’t said or done anything. No kiss, no caress, no hug. After coming to bed with his stupid drunk head, he began to snore. I couldn’t fall asleep, but with that noise next to me, it had become impossible. I witnessed every hour tick by on the alarm clock and finally, in the early morning, I had to sneak out of the room without making a sound.
On my way to the stairs, I decided to have a look at Alexia, who was sleeping soundly. The girl was really a sweetheart of a pup, so sweet and polite.
