Eliza’s POV:
It wasn’t long before some warriors came to take Ben with them.
“Take him to the cells. He won’t escape his punishment that easily!” Jason told them sternly. The warriors nodded and roughly picked Ben up and dragged him to the cells. I didn’t even know they had them.
“Could you please make sure Anna is okay, Dad?” Jason asked him as Miles came running up.
“What happened?” Miles wasted no time and asked.
“Ben delivered the wolfsbanes and acknowledged, under command, his involvement in Eliza’s staircase accident.” Jason enlightens him quickly. He turned me slowly around in his arms, tilting my head so he could look me in the eye. “Now, please tell me who actually pushed you down the stairs?” he pleads with me again.
