Chapter 40
Eliza’s POV:
The week at the beach with Jason was amazing.
We had breakfast together, after which Jason went to work and I made something nice for lunch. We spent the afternoon together on the beach. By the time it was dinner time, we showered together and Jason took me out to dinner. In the evening, we went for a walk on the beach.
Our time together was fantastic. We got to know each other better, and it just felt right between us.
Jason had explained to me his theory about Lexie and made me an offer. I had to think about that until we went home this afternoon. Jason was doing some final touches at this point while I was doing the dishes.
“Okay, that’s done. Ready to go home, gorgeous?” he said, slamming his laptop shut.
