Eliza’s POV:
The moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt fraught.
Gamma Tim came out of the kitchen with in both hands a beer. Greeting us as if it was the most normal thing in the world. Jason and I walked into the room, where Ben, Anna, Tom and a girl I didn’t know were sitting. Anna’s face lit up with joy until her eyes fell on our intertwined fingers. The smile immediately disappeared from her face and instead came a look of disgust.
“That,” she said, pointing to our hands and staring at me, “That stops right here, RIGHT NOW!” Yelling the last words at me. The look in her eyes was almost feral.
The twins and the girl looked at Anna in surprise. Searching for the reason for her sudden outburst.
“That’s my brother. He’s off limits for you!” By now Anna had stood by and
