Chapter 29
Eliza´s POV:
I woke up the next morning. Still completely in a trance from what had happened the night before. What started with a kiss, ended up naked in bed. No s*x, but certainly an evening and night to remember. One leg draped over him, secure in his big muscular arms, my head resting on his chest. His heartbeat was an oasis of calm for me. With my finger, I traced all the lines on his body. I heard him purr. His one hand on my side while his other hand grabbed my hand.
“Liz, please stop. You’re making me take another cold shower.” His voice was soft and hoarse, as you expect when somebody has just woken up.
“I told you, you didn’t have to,” I began, lifting my head and tucking my hand under my chin, so I could look at him. He still had his eyes closed.
