Chapter 30
Eliza´s POV:
It was already ten o’clock when Jason placed the last suitcases at the door while I dried the last dishes.
“I think we did that fairly quickly,” Jason said, opening a bottle of water. While he completely gulped the bottle back, I put the last of the mugs in a moving box. At that moment, there was a knock on the door. Jason walked to the door as if he’d done nothing else.
“If you let him, I’m sure he’d love nothing more,” Lexie said. She had been pointing out things all morning, about why Jason (and Luke) were perfect for us and why I didn’t have to make it so hard.
Ben came in first. “Good morning, Anna will be in shortly,” he said gruffly, looking at me. I raised an eyebrow but said nothing more. As Ben had said, Anna did indeed walk in shortly afterwards.
