ARIA I walked away from them with my shoulders tight and my head buzzing, my heels tapping softly against the pavement as the restaurant lights faded behind me. I did not turn back because if I did, I knew I would stop, and I did not understand what I would even say. What was wrong with those two? I pressed my lips together as I walked, replaying the dinner in my mind, the sharp smiles, the strange pauses, and the way the air felt heavy whenever Luca and Savon spoke to each other.
