"You own an entertainment company, right? Help me with Orion's work. I want you to handle it by yourself," Eli said, surprising me.
"What do you mean?" I asked Eli.
"Julian's created an entertainment company before, so he is someone who can help you with your work. You said you wanted to leave your agency, right? Julian will help you. My job isn't related to the entertainment industry, so I can't help you, but Julian can help you," Eli explained, leaving me still confused as to why he was so kind and willing to help me.
"Wait a minute. So, my brother-in-law works in the entertainment industry? What do you do?" Julian asked, looking at me appraisingly.
"Model," I replied quietly.
"Ah, no wonder. I've seen you somewhere before, and you're so beautiful. Haha, of course my brother likes you. In that case, I'll help you. But, for my brother, you can help him by sponsoring him. Your company is so big, so you definitely have connections and are a target for many people seeking sponsorships. How about it? Do you want to talk more about it?" Julian said, seemingly already in business mode.
Eli and I returned to Eli's mansion. I felt exhausted just sitting and talking with Eli's two siblings, but I was quite happy, so when I arrived at Eli's mansion, I immediately returned to my own room with excitement. However, I forgot something very important and ended up running out of the room, looking for Eli.
"Eli!!!" I screamed, looking for Eli's room, which should have been close to mine, but I couldn't find him.
I was still running, tears streaming down my face. Honestly, I felt scared and uncomfortable with what I saw when I entered my room. I saw the Steward coming from the opposite direction, his face full of concern. "Mr. Orion, what happened? Are you hurt?"
"Where's Eli?! Ugh uhh," I tried to catch my breath.
"The Master is in his study..." The Steward trailed off.
I felt someone hug me from behind, and Eli's hoarse voice immediately reached my ear. "What's wrong? What happened to you? You're crying like a baby."
“Damn it, Eli!! Why is there a scary creature in my room?! There's blood and it's writhing around in my bathroom, why didn't you get rid of it!” I screamed, holding back my tears.
I saw Eli glaring at Steward, scaring him. I quickly averted his gaze, hugged his arm, and pleaded, “I don't want to be in that room anymore, and I want to go home. I don't want to be here.”
Honestly, I had forgotten about the scary incident earlier, but besides that, I really didn't want to live in this mansion, this mansion filled with vampires. And I missed my room and my bed, the most expensive of all the things I owned in my modest apartment. Living in this mansion made me feel like I was in prison, like a seagull locked in a golden cage.
Eli sighed, looked at me, and said, “We'll come back tomorrow morning, not now. You sleep in my room first. And Steward, clean Orion's room well. Hmm, no need. Just move Orion's things to my room.”
"Okay, sir. I'll do my best," said the steward, walking away from us both at lightning speed.
"Come on, follow me to my room," Eli put his arm around my shoulder and led me to his.
"Haah, this is better," I said with a sigh as I entered Eli's room.
"Take a shower first and then go to bed. Tomorrow we'll go to your agency to termination your contract and transfer you to Julian's agency." Eli told me to take a shower while he took off his jacket and placed it on the sofa.
"I don't have a change of clothes," I said quietly.
Eli looked at me and then smiled, his lips quirking up in mockery. "Can't you use my pajamas first? You've done it before without my permission, so there's no need to be embarrassed about it again."
"Damn," I said, slightly annoyed, but I could only wipe the tears from my cheeks and run to the bathroom.
After my shower, I sat on the sofa by the window and stared out. Eli was taking a shower, and I don't know why, but I waited for him instead of going to bed first. The sight I saw when I entered my room was terrifying, how could it not be? I saw my bathroom still covered in blood, and there was someone lying there with their head severed, but still alive and screaming, I don't know if they were dying or what. Thinking back, it seemed like they were the servant from yesterday, which meant they had been there for over two days without anyone helping them. The scene reminded me of those zombie shows on television, even scarier because even zombies die if their heads are no longer intact, but they were still groaning like that, blood pouring from their wounds.
"What are you thinking?" Eli asked suddenly, startling me.
Eli, who had just emerged from the bathroom, still had droplets of water on his face, neck, and exposed chest. His hair was still wet, adding to the water droplets dripping down his neck. I stared at him, automatically admiring the sight before me, a sight that diverted my previous terrifying thoughts.
"He could beat the models like this," I thought, imagining the sexy male models flaunting their muscular bodies for the camera, who would be outmatched by Eli in front of me.
"Go to sleep now and don't think about anything weird," Eli said again, casually walking over to the bed.
"Wait a minute, don't tell me you're going to sleep with wet hair like that? And what's more, you're only wearing a bath towel like that?"
I stopped Eli from sitting on the bed.
“I'm usually like this, I won't get sick even if I sleep like this. I'm not human,” Eli replied casually.
“But I am human, you're too wet to sleep. It's uncomfortable if the bed is damp and wet because your body is wet. Besides, why are you sleeping naked like that? Put on some clothes, at least some pants,” I said, getting up from the sofa and walking over to the bed.
“You're being too fussy, give me some pants!” Eli used the towel in his hand to dry his hair.
I grabbed a set of pajamas for Eli and handed them to him, who was roughly drying his hair. “Don't be too harsh, or you'll go bald.”
“Hey, you're getting more and more fussy. It seems you'll start acting more and more like my wife,” Eli said in his annoying way, making me quickly throw the pajamas at him and climb into bed, ignoring Eli.
“Haha, look at you. You're getting a little angry and annoyed, you human,” Eli said, still teasing me.
I snapped without thinking, "Weren't vampires originally human? You guys were originally human too."
