“They found something on you” “ Dad, this is a setup, I don’t know how it got there” “it probably flew through the window, I swear I saw it fly” Arnold said mockingly “ you’re right, it flew through the window and guess who gave it wings, Arnold Snow” Leo fired back, he vowed never to call Arnold by his surname so he called him Snow to spite him, and he did succeeded in spiting him cause Arnold’s face grew red and his hands folded into a fist but then he cannot dare to pick up a fight because he knows his place. “ I don’t f*****g do drugs how many times do I have to tell you this, you ought to believe what I say, Dad,” Leo said. “I know you don’t, son,” Roberts said trying to convince himself his son was innocent. “you have to find a way to make sure this doesn’t repeat itself” “He didn’t do it, I won’t tolerate that pinch of doubt in your voice” Loretta countered. Leo was already exhausted that he was the centre of this whole mess. “I didn’t say he did it, I know my son doesn’t do drugs” Here it was again, his father calling him son, the poor man was exhausted cause since the incident his mom had always attacked him at the slightest opportunity she got. “It’s okay Dad I’ll take care of it” “It’s so sad there was a board meeting and I wasn’t invited” Would today get any better? It was Christine, Arnold’s mother. It wasn’t going to be a good day because Loretta and Christine were always at loggerheads. “what are you doing here? You’re not a part of the board!” Loretta said. “oh my, I’m sorry I showed my face in your company where I don’t belong,” Christine said in a mock tone. Leo rolled his eyes at the drama that ensued between his mother and his dad’s mistress. He felt pity for his dad cause anything he said at this point would be used against him, Christine herself could manipulate the monster out of a person. “Roberts what is she doing here?” at this point, Leo knew heaven was going to come on earth, she f*****g called him Roberts. “Please calm down Loretta, “ Roberts said frustratingly “What makes you feel I’m not calm? If I’m not calm right now I will step on this table walk over to where she is, pull out her hair and slam her head to the wall multiple times screaming at her and calling her a home wrecker, do you still think I’m not calm?” “I’m scared,” Christine said sarcastically. “by the time I’m done with you Christine, you will see fear, know fear and taste fear” “Please Mom” Leo finally intervened to help the room because his mother was already getting everyone scared except Arnold of course because he seemed to enjoy the show. “If my son is a part of this board, I am a part of it too.” Arnold smiled when Christine said this and Leo felt like crossing over to his side of the table and giving him a punch in his mouth that would take off his teeth. “Did you hear her?” Loretta said to Roberts and he was just quite all through visibly exhausted by the whole drama. Leo had to excuse himself because the whole bickering would add to his depression and make his day worse than it was. He needed to clear his head over the whole event that happened and figure out how he could be in control of the situation. He pressed the yellow button by his bed that signalled to the servants that they were needed. He was tired of his mom prying into his relationship life he didn’t want all these today. He got prepared and was on his way to the company. His thought drifted to the day things got bad in his family it was the presence of Arnold and his witch of a mother that got things sour. Just as he was about to make a turn he heard a sound like a heavy weight of grain dropped on the floor, alerted he halted his break immediately and quickly dashed out of his car to find out what happened.
