REALITY VS IMAGINATION

This story is about a girl who has a diary and she always considers herself an ugly person. She's Maze Pendelton. She loves to write in her diary most of the time, writing about how her day went or even just how she wants to experience things in a different way. Because of her appearance, Maze often gets bullied at school. Having no friends because she just recently transferred to this school, a lot of bullies and entitled students make fun of her. We will know what will happen to Maze during her stay at Salvatore's Elite University. Maze Pendelton lost her parents in an accident when she was only 7 years old. From then, Maze has been living in her aunt's house. Her aunt is the only relative to acknowledge Maze. Her aunt Lyn helped her from the trauma she faced and nurtured her like her own. Ever since the accident happened, Maze has never stepped foot outside and has been home studying because she wants to be alone most of the time. She doesn't know how to interact with other people or socialize with them. That's why she chose to home school and keep herself away from people. Her aunt Lyn finally enrolled her into SEU so she can finally live her life and have friends because she's been locking herself way too long. At first, Maze argues with her but she eventually gives in and agrees to give it a try. Maze's POV I was walking in the school hallway when I noticed that there were a lot of boys looking at me, maybe because I'm way too ugly or they just wanted to make fun of me. I know I'm not beautiful, but they all look pathetic if they think I will even like one of them. But I noticed this guy, this one guy that out of nowhere smiled and waved at me like he knew me. He's so handsome and he looks smart to be honest, unlike those idiots who are constantly laughing at me. I went straight to my classroom and discovered that the guy who smiled at me was also in my class. His name is Paxton Lee, the class president of the top section and the most popular guy in school. I don't know why my heart's beating so fast just by looking at him. Well, I got my first crush I guess. Every girl in school wanted to be his girlfriend and maybe it wasn't that bad to be one of them. He's so dreamy, I'll tell you that. All of a sudden, some girl approached me and introduced herself. Her name is Ellie Peters, she's the first person who considers me as a friend and she's so damn fine. After a little conversation with her, she asked me to come with her to the cafeteria to have lunch together. Who am I to say no to this beautiful girl? Ellie is just like Paxton. She's the most popular girl in our school and most boys in our school adore her. I mean, who wouldn't she's the definition of perfect for me. When we finally have our food we decided to check if there's any available seat because the cafeteria is full and when Ellie asked some guy they don't even hesitate to give their table to us. While we are eating Ellie started talking to me and for the first time in years I feel like I'm finally moving forward from everything that's keeping me from moving on. As days went by, weeks, everything looked fine and I think I'm beginning to like my new environment here at SEU. Lyn's POV Seeing my niece smile and finally getting to live her life touched me to my core. I can't help but remember how hard it was for her when she lost her parents in that accident. From the first day she woke up from her coma and knew that both of her parents were dead that ruined her life and her heart. I know deep down she's still blaming herself from what happened to them and drowning herself from those traumas. I can't imagine how hard she tried to fight her demons that keeps on dragging her deeply. But now all I can do is support her in everything that she wants to do so I can tell my brother that her daughter is so strong she fought everything just to get better. My dear Maze, I will always be right here supporting and looking out for you. I promise to not leave you and always make you feel love. I hope you get the love and friends you deserve. While Maze prepares to go to school I asked her about how's everything is doing and she responded to me that she already had a new friend. I'm so glad she has a friend already cause I thought she'll be locking herself out again from the world. I think everything working great for her at her new school. Paxton's POV There's this girl earlier today, she looks new and I don't know what got into me but I know I smiled at her. And I don't even know why? She just looks so angelic to me. I don't know but her aura captured me. My hearts beating like crazy that's why when I saw her smiled back I ran like a dog. As I entered our class I noticed a familiar face from earlier and hell that's the girl I smiled at I was totally panicking but I have to keep my cool cause I don't want to make a bad impression. Thankfully Ellie showed up and started talking to her getting her attention diverted in me. I think i owed her one for that. Ellie has been my best friend for quite some time now and I think she already knows what's going on my mind from that time. But that girl is really something, I don't know why but I feel like I know her from somewhere.
