New territory

Meg, who was just waking up, froze in shock when she saw Loyrane leaning in and said person jumped back in fright. He didn't expect Meg to wake up now and his eyes widened when he noticed that she was awake. He immediately jumped back in fright and his mind registered what he was about to do. Loyrane scurried out of the room in a hurry not really wanting to explain himself because he, himself, didn't know what he was about to do until now. Every alien instinct of his, was telling him that this is right but he thought its ridiculous. Who has heard of an alien and a human becoming lovers? None so its so ridiculous for him yet he can't deny his instincts. At first, he thought that maybe if he accepted Meg, then his instincts would calm down but Lord did they multiply. He just didn't know what to do for this one was the first time he has heard about an alien having funny feelings for a human and he didn't want to be the one to break the rules of their planet. So he had to choose to either love her and break the rules or to leave her and hurt her but none seemed like an option so he'd think about it later. Loyrane didn't feel like staying in today so he thought that maybe he could venture outside for the mean while to study his surroundings and maybe gather some food for both of them because surely they couldn't survive without it. He invited Meg but you could notice the tension between the 2 was thick and neither of them felt like talking about it so they simply left it in the air. "Do you think its safe for us to go out" Meg questioned Loyrane already having a bad feeling about this. New territory wasn't easy to venture in and you had to have a map or a guide in order to avoid trouble and then maybe the next time you could come back alone after getting used to the routes but in this case, none of them had a map and neither of them knew the territory they are in. "Nope, but we are about to find out, right?" Loyrane said not so sure himself but not caring because he knew that an animal wild or domestic couldn't attack you without a reason. So in this situation, none of them intended to disturb the animals so, safety was guaranteed. They could gather some fruits and maybe hunt some game and after that get some much needed water for Meg for they wouldn't want her to die of thirst. “ Why do you think this place is labeled “dangerous territory" Loyrane asked Meg expecting at least something of importance since she was an explorer although he knew that she could have 2 or 3 years experience. “You see, back then, when there was a creature that used to eat anything alive, people came up with a solution for it. They ganged up and forced it out of the territory and it is believed that it ran to this part of kloan and was never to be seen" She explained and Loyrane nodded in understanding “So why would noise be prohibited if you are in this part" Loyrane asked not understanding why noise would be prohibited from such a place. Would the creature wake up? But a creature can't sleep if its hungry unless its not normal. " I really don't know because this is the first time I've heard that noise is not to be made out here but I really think its to keep people in fear so as not to venture this side to provoke that creature." Said Meg after some serious thoughts and she made a mental note to ask her parents about this part after they come back from their vacation. " Do you think its alive?" Loyrane mumbled suddenly “ Mm maybe, maybe not, since its been like 14 or 15 years since it was driven out of middle heart and sent to this part of kloan. But in my opinion, it maybe dead because a creature can't live without food for this long time" replied Meg "Okay so what are we doing out here. I know we've come to pick food and fruits but did we really have to? I mean what if the food here is poisonous? We don't know a thing about this place" Meg paused after asking this question as of just noticing that something is amiss out here. The place just seemed so quiet. Abnormally quiet. " Oh Meg don't tell me you're scared. Are you getting the chills?" teased Loyrane and Meg slapped his arm playfully. “Speaking of which, Did you carry a sweater or umbrella in your bag because it looks like its gonna rain" Loyrane started and it began drizzling before he finished what be was about to say and by the look on Meg's face, she didn't carry any of the two and that's when it rained. " Are you always like this" Loyrane shouted loudly over the rain. " You mean me not carrying emergency stuff?" Meg shouted back and Loyrane nodded " No, not normally. I'm always prepared. I guess today has been different though I think we should look for a shed otherwise we shall get sick from the rain or maybe I since I don't know if aliens get sick from the rain" Meg said desperately when she began shivering. " Oh yeah, you're right though I highly doubt we shall get one" Loyrane exclaimed. He had noticed that it was mostly trees when they were still in air before landing and he also noticed that there was nothing like a house or shed or anything someone could stay in for that matter but maybe if they looked, they may find a tree that could harbor them for the meantime.
