Her First Love

Chapter 6

EMMA POV:

As I was walking out of the parking lot, I feel like someone was looking at me. I look around in the parking lot but nobody was there. It felt like someone was keeping an eye on me. Only a few students were passing by and they were also busy among themselves. I did not think about this too much and pass it as a random thought.

After that, I made my way towards my station.

The next days pass in a blink. Soon it was the weekend.

We decided to go to a cafe near the university in the evening. We also informed Kat and Logan because I believe more people, more enjoyment.

I wore a grey colored chiffon shirt that has a loose bow on the neck. I tucked the front side of the shirt inside denim shorts. I applied a little bit of makeup. As usual, my makeup includes lipstick, mascara and some blush and that's it. I am ready.

I told my parents that I am going out and went to the bus station. I get off the bus at my stop and started walking towards the cafe.

I checked the time and there was still time left for everyone to come.

I was bubbling with happiness. Sometimes there is no specific reason but you feel happy inside. I was in that mood. I reached my destination and stand in front of the cafe. Its name was also like my mood. What a coincidence.

'Happy cafe' was written beautifully at the entrance. Upon reaching, I extended my arm to open the cafe door.

I did not know that someone was also opening the door from inside at the same time. I came face to face with that person. Can you guess who was standing there?

He was the mysterious boy whom I saw at university on my first day.

He was standing with a coffee in his hand. His eyes were like they can see through your soul. I became nervous.

I stepped left for him to pass. But seems like he was thinking the same. He also stepped left.

Then we both stepped right to give each other path but also fail this time.

His lips twitched slightly. I also smiled at our situation.

I extended my hand 'Hello I am Emma, Emma Blue'.

He looked amused at my introduction and accepted my hand. ' I am Liam, Liam Smith'.

I noticed that even with a serious face he looks quite gorgeous. One can not find any fault in his beautifully sculpted face.

He then moves to one side and gives me space to pass.

'Thanks' i beamed at his sweet gesture.

He slightly tilts his head acknowledging and then went out.

I looked around the cafe. It was recently built and was very cozy looking. I sat down at one of the tables by the window side.

Kat and Logan entered the cafe. They were wearing clothes of the same color. They look so sweet together. I waved at them. Kat noticed me and advanced in my direction. They sat at the table.

'How are you, Emma?'Logan asked.

' Fine. What about you two?'

'We are also fine.' Kat replied looking lovingly at logan.

Soon Alyssa and Drake also came. They greeted everyone and sat down at the table. A waiter came to take our orders. He was around our age and quite good looking.

Alyssa turned to give him orders and much to her surprise he flirted with her. After taking orders, he winked in Alyssa's direction and went away.

'What was he doing?' Drake said plainly.

'Taking order' Alyssa replied raising her brows.

'He was flirting with you' Drake pointed out.

'Really, I didn't know that' Alyssa teased.

'Are you jealous?' Kat pointed out while smiling mischievously.

'Me, no, why. I am not jealous' Drake stuttered turning his head sideways.

After his blabbering, we shared some of the funny experiences of our lives and laughed at them wholeheartedly.

Soon the same waiter came with our orders and smiled seductively at Alyssa.

After serving our orders, the waiter tried to pass his number to Alyssa. But Drake being the jealous beast glared in his direction making him scurry away.

I noticed that he was interested and protective of Alyssa but can not understand his own feelings.

I mentally note down that I will try to bring them close. They are gonna make a sweet couple because the energetic personality of Alyssa is fit for Drake's jolly personality.

'Hello, come back to Earth' Kat waved his hand in front of me.

I nodded and smiled at her and then start eating my food. Logan and Drake threw some random jokes throughout the conversation that made us burst into laughter.

After eating, Drake paid the bill. Even on insisting he didn't let anyone split the bill saying that it was his treat.

We moved out of the cafe. It was nearly 6 in the evening. A light breeze was blowing and slightly ruffling our hairs.

Logan and Kat took their leave. Drake offered me a ride.

'Thanks, but it's really not necessary.' i said politely.

'No buts.' he said while stomping his feet like a little child.

'He's right, Emma. We will drop you off.' Alyssa also insisted.

'Ok Ok.' i surrendered.

We then hopped into the car and drove over to my house. I thanked them and got off the car.

'Why don't you guys come in?' I offered them.

'Next time, Sweetie.' Alyssa sweetly smiled.

' Okay, drive safe.' After saying our goodbyes, I entered my house. I greeted my parents, who were sitting in the living room. Then I went to my room to freshen up a little bit.
