Chapter 8

I was in no mood of talking. With a gloomy mood, I went towards the door of the cafe to exit. Josh was also right beside me.

As soon as I opened the door, someone called from behind 'Heyyy stop.'

I turned around and saw a waiter coming my way and not to mention with a red file in his hand. I was more than relieved to see my hard work coming towards me.

'You left it this morning and I carefully kept it because it looked important.' he told us.

'The girl (waitress) told me that someone is looking for a file that's why I came to check and give it to its owner. ' He continued and extended my file towards me.

'Thank you, Thank you. You saved my life' i said with gratitude.

'No problem' he replied smiling.

After taking the file, we went out of the cafe.

' Josh, thank you so much. I had lost hope and if you didn't help me then I can never find my file again. ' I thanked and praised him.

'It's not a big deal. I am happy that I was able to help a sweet girl like you.' he said smiling politely.

I smiled and slightly blushed at his compliment.

We made our way towards the university. I entered my department building and Alyssa was standing there with a worried face.

I hurriedly went to her to tell her the good news.

'Girl, I found my file.' i waved my file in front of her.

'I was so anxious. Thank God you found your file.' she said relieved.

Her gaze went from me to Josh. She looked at me with a questioning expression.

'I found him on the way, he helped me in finding my file.' i explained.

She then smiled at Josh and thanked him for helping me.

'Now you guys are embarrassing me. ' Josh said while scratching the back of his neck.

'Okay, let's submit the assignment.' I excitedly said to Alyssa.

'I'll take my leave.' Josh said.

' Okay.' i waved at him.

Alyssa and I went to submit our assignment. Drake was also standing there. We told him the whole ordeal.

After submitting our assignments, we took a sigh of relief. Finally, the burden was over.

But the bigger burden was coming our way.

    EXAMS

But there was some time in that. Till then, chill and rest.

On one usual day of university, we got some free time. Because the teacher had some important work came up and she had to go there.

Our group and some other students from our class that we were friends with, sat down on the ground in front of the campus building while chatting and laughing.

'Why not play something?' a girl questioned.

'What about Truth or Dare?' a boy offered.

'That's a good idea!' I replied.

We all sat in a circle and place a bottle in the center and spin it.

The bottle head stopped at Alyssa. She selected truth

' What is your biggest fear? ' a girl asked.

' You guys will not laugh at me. Promise me!' Alyssa said.

' We'll try' we said.

'Gh...' she whispered.

'Alyssa, speak in a loud voice. We can't hear you.' a boy laughed.

'GHOSTS' she told in loud voice.

' What are you? Five?' someone said and we all laughed. She also joined us laughing.

We again spin our bottle. It stopped at a guy. He chooses to dare.

'Tell us a joke. You must make everyone laugh at that.' we gave him dare.

He tried but failed because not many members laughed. All were trying hard to control their laughter.

He again tried. 'You guys know who put the second foot on the moon.?'

When no one answered, he said 'Obviously Neil Armstrong. It's not like he has only one foot.'

We all burst into laughter. Tears formed into our eyes after so much laughing.

Next time the bottle stopped at me. I chose dare.

' You will have to convince the first person coming out of the building to buy you a pizza.' I got a dare.

We all were thrilled to see whom I'll have to deal with. Soon the most awaiting first person walked out of the building. Everyone cheered for me to go and fulfill my task.

The person whom I never thought was the first one to walk out of the building.

I hurriedly reached that person and stand in front of him.

'Hey! Liam, you remember me. Right?' i asked excitedly.

He raised his eyebrows and his expressions were like 'are you an i***t? '

'Actually, I got a dare and you'll have to help me.' I continued.

'Why would I?' he counterattacked.

I told him the dare and pleaded with puppy dog eyes. I'll have to do something otherwise I'll lose the dare.

After a century of him thinking which was actually a few minutes, he opened his bag and start to search for something.

I was excited about what he was doing. But my excitement was short-lived. He brings out chocolate from his bag and not to mention that was also half-eaten.

'What is this?' I asked, dumbfounded.

'A chocolate.' he said in such a tone like I came from another planet and don't know that what is this. Boy, I know that it's chocolate.

'But I don't want a chocolate.' i rejected.

'Be happy that I gave you this.' he taunted.

'I want a pizza.' i said.

'For what?'  he questioned.

'For me.!  I sweetly smiled

'What are you? A hungry lioness!' he said with both amused and irritated expression.

I didn't know before that one can show such mixtures of emotions in such a short time. I was laughing inside.

He moved past me. I grabbed his arm and looked him in the eyes. 'Pleaseeeee.'

His expressions change for a moment, then went back to the previous one.
