Hannah sidled around the lead Legion scientist, Bryant Montgomery, not happy to have him and the others taking over the lab. Sure, it had been their lab originally, but they had abandoned it, same as the rest of the compound, after they’d been defeated by the wardens. This was her lab now and she did not like these strangers coming in and messing up how she had everything arranged.
Despite that, she was intrigued to know how they had come up with the gas to control the freaks in the first place.
‘I don’t understand what changed. The bloodwork is still consistent with our initial testing. The gas should still work,’ said Bryant.
‘Maybe we made a mistake and allowed some foreign body to contaminate this particular batch,’ suggested one of the others, a woman called Tara Baldwi
