“Daddy!” Sly shouted, throwing himself at Rocky.
Rocky caught him and hugged him close while keeping his eye on Nikki. She tensed instantly and nearly threw the things in her hands at him. The fear in her eyes and the terror radiating from her said she wasn’t just surprised to see him, she was scared out of her mind.
“What are you doing here?” she demanded.
“I wanted to show Archer and Lily where you live. Get an idea of the complex. We were going to drive around the area a little and grab some lunch. I thought you guys were out for the day.”
