Nicole wanted to retreat to the kitchen, but she took a seat at the table and watched the men try to sit on the floor with Sly. Rocky grinned at Archer and the two of them shared some kind of silent communication that Nicole wondered about.
“I’m sorry I’ve been kind of bitchy to you,” Lily said, taking the seat next to Nicole at the table. “I love Rocky and will hate to have him leave.”
