Athena's Darkest Memories

Athena: And that is how you get a man's attention.. Hope:wow I cant believe it works! Ella: She just locked eye contact and gave a smile while looking all shy and mysterious. Athena: that was the whole point, that way he would come over and say hi.. Hope: wait Athena! Omg, is he the new neighbor?! Athena: OK, that wasn't part of the plan; let's go back inside and hurry up. Ella: but he is looking over.. Athena: then don't look at him. --THE ENGAGEMENT-- Rick: hey! umm you ! woohoo yes you! excuse me can you come over here a second?! Athena: Yes?! Can I help you? Rick: me and my sister Deli were wondering if you would like to date our big brother JAKE. Athena: ummm date your brother? I don't know him. Rick: HEY JAKE, COME OVER HERE! (rides his bicycle over) Jake: what?( asked while looking at the floor)  Rick: this is my older brother Jake. Now that you have met him, will you go out with him? Athena: umm hi Jake (still looking shy at the floor) I'm Athena. Nice to meet you. Maybe we can go on a few dates and see what happens? (he nodded and ran away on his bicycle with his brother and sister) --THE CHANGE-- A couple of weeks passed and everything started to change in Athena's life. Before she knew it, she wasn't a little girl anymore, she was about to become a teenager; at her At 14 years, she felt that it was time to take her relationship with Jake to the next step. So she started to lie to her family and sneak her boyfriend inside the house while her family was sleeping. Once she gave her flower away, Jake started to be even a more bad influence on her. Years passed and her relationship with Hope and Ella started to break. Ella would keep on trying to get her older sister back.  but nothing would work. Athena was too blinded by love to see her sister trying to knock some sense into her. Hope: This whole mess is your fault for trying to teach us how to catch a man with just a look. Everything was fine with all of us until you started dating him. I'm telling you, Athena, he is not good for you. Athena: You don't even know what you are talking about, you have never been in love, besides it is my life. I know what I'm doing. --THE LITTLE LIGHT-- Days became weeks and weeks became years and nothing was getting any easier for the sisters. The family tried finding a church to start over and Athena actually thought things would be better, but her boyfriend was not convinced that God would make things better for them, so she walked away from God the same day she gave him her heart. Her relationship in high school with Jake was different, since everybody she met would tell her he wasn't good for her,even the boy's step-father would tell her to  walk away from him and be with someone better. She would go to lunch and the school chef would tell her that even though they didn't know each other, that boy was no good.  for you. to think lots of different people were warning her that her relationship with Jake was no good. She would listen. (but then again she didnt) One day, a women saw Jake sneaking into the house at night and saw him leave in the morning. She waited till Athena's father came back from work and told on them. Father: AtHENA ! I must say I am very disappointed in you and because of this you have lost my trust. You are not to be with Jake ever again in your life. --WHERE THE DARKNESS STARTS-- A year has passed since she pretended to break the relationship and the deal was to act like they weren't together anymore. Everything in her life started to fall apart in summer school she  met someone different and he tried to help her out with her problems.  Dragon: Hi my name is Dragon. I work here for the summer as a janitor. Why does someone so beautiful look so sad? Athena: hi umm I'm Athena. Nice to meet you. Are you old enough to be a janitor in high school for the summer? I've been going through a lot these years that I don't even know what I'm doing. anymore. They became good friends during the summer, then she met Bob, her best friend's brother. At a get-together party he was nice to her and they hit it off that day and her best friend thought it would be awesome if she and her brother would get married in the future and would become sisters. Athena and Bob went out for months, but in the end it didn't work out. He was more interested in Athena's sister Hope than, Her,so he started going out with her behind her back instead of telling her the truth, since hope was only 14 years old and he was 5 years older than her.Athena was hurt that her sister would break the women's code like it was nothing to her,right there hope told her the truth. Hope: You and Bob were never together to begin with. I thought you said you loved Jake (Hope started to change her voice and everything was sarcastic and mean) Bob likes me better than you. What makes you think he was ever going to marry you in the future? Athena: what is wrong with you?! I thought you hated him since the first time you met him. I was always sticking up for you when you both fought..are you telling me it was all a game to you both?! He gave me a promised ring. Was it all a lie? Hope: Yes. Yes, Athena cry me a river. It was all a lie. I'm better than you and I want you to stop talking to him from now on. Athena's relationship with her sister was clearly over from that moment on. Athena went to school and threw the ring at Bob's head and it was lost for ever on the streets and even though Hope betrayed her, she gave Bob a warning about if he would ever hurt her sister, like he hurt her, she would make his life a living hell. Months passed and Athena saw Dragon again. From a friendship, it grew to something more.Athena was happy with Dragon that she forgot about Jake and the plan to be fake broken up that Jake confronted athena about it and everything went dark. Athena told Jake that it wasn't fake anymore and that she wanted out of it. She was tired of living a lie that she wanted to be with Dragon. That same day, Dragon stopped talking to Athena. Days passed and she was worried and saw that Jake was a bit too quiet. Athena video called Dragon and he finally picked up and she saw that he had his face all messed up. Athena: Omg Dragon, where have you been?! What happened to you? Dragon: I'm OK Athena, but your crazy ex did this to me Athena: what?! But how? When?  Dragon: a few days ago I noticed some people following me around to my house,then one night I went to take out the trash and Jake was there with a couple of his friends. They held me down while Jake gave me a big beating. Athena: omg Dragon , I'm so sorry for everything. Dragon: is OK. Athena is not your fault,but it will take time for me to recover from this. Maybe we should stay friends for now. Athena was heart broken but he was right to stay away from her. She started to go back to school and nothing was the same again since Jake became her enemy and she became his new obsession.
