Chapter 13: The Execution (Part 1)
Axel, Luna and Belle were hidden on a rooftop, crouching behind carefully placed crates, waiting for the execution to begin. Jack had given Belle a vial of Repmain potion, which seemed to curb her headache for now. He was waiting near the Roven inn with six archers and four speedsters for the ambush. The execution would start in a few more minutes. Across the road, a crowd was present, and three pyres were already set up, with two stake-like structures sticking out for the prisoners to be bound to. The bounty hunters were nowhere in sight.
