Vampire Deal

    Nervousness, a feeling of anxiety, that is what I am feeling now. Today is an important day for humans. If my presentation is approved by the council of members then my fate along with the humans who are in training to be slave, pet, or sacrifice will change.     My hands moved the locket given to me by my parents on my third birthday and which was the last birthday celebrated with them. I remembered the words of my father who put this chain with a smiling face and said "Remember 3 c's of life, cagey, courage, confidence if you are anxious".     "Letty are you ready?" asked Mr. Arnold. Gage, the beta of star moon pack, and also a father figure for me. He has a tall frame of 6ft with a fair complexion, with brunette hair. His body was good for a 50-year-old werewolf and has the eye color of brown. I had to do a lot to earn his trust, but like me even he was afraid to face me. I gave a smile to him and hugged him. No matter what, I will fight till my last breath.     "All the best, Alpha Nathan is waiting for you. Go now," he said dragging me to the meeting hall. I smiled at his enthusiasm. Alpha Nathan. Haran is the alpha of the most powerful red moon pack who has been the best friend of Alpha Aries. Gage, alpha of our pack. He is the elder brother of Mr. Arnold. Gage sharing the same physique except with black eyes.      When I told my idea to both the alpha they wanted to help me and supported the idea as well. So Alpha Nathan arranged the meeting with the council regarding the matter. Alpha Nathan was worse for bad ones and nice for good ones. By seeing his 6.2 ft frame, wheat complexion skin and his light green broody eyes will make you cower but he is always friendly with our whole pack.     I took a deep breath before opening the doors of the meeting room. When I opened, I was greeted by a U shaped meeting where 6 members were seated. The head of the council, Alfasno. Aresco, a hybrid of a vampire, werewolf, and a wizard sat at the center.      His presence was making me want to kneel down but I stood firm. He didn't look a day older than 30 with brown hair falling on his forehead with pale skin and a glowing teal eyes which held authority. Aside from all this, he was incredibly handsome.      I went near Alpha Nathan who was just beside the left of Sir. Alfasno. Aresco. "So I introduce you to the person responsible for the security of my pack and a good advisor of the pack. She is the one who got a solution to our current problem."      Alpha Nathan was right, I knew I could not simply get the freedom of humans so I thought of the solution to the problem the council was dealing with. "What can a mere human do?" all the members except Sir. Alfasno and Alpha Nathan laughed a the comment.     "Don't forget, Lord Lucifer. Mattarella, that you need 'mere humans' for living." the words from Alpha Nathan angered the vampire, Lord Lucifer. Lord Lucifer was a 1200-year-old vampire with thick black hair and brown orbs who typically believes that humans are worthless for living and only good enough to be a food or a slave or better at a sacrifice.      "Hold your tongue Haran don't forget who you talking to!" Alpha Nathan's body clearly told me that he was furious before both could chop their throats, Sir. Alfasno interrupted. "We are here for a purpose, if you are wasting my time in a fight then believe me I will not think a second to turn you two in ashes. Lord. Lucifer is professional this is not a war field." Although the voice was normal the threat in his voice was clear.     "So what solution do we have for our current problem?" Sir. Alfasno asked with a straight face. "I brought a pen drive to show it in the form of presentation if I get..." I was not able to complete my sentence, in a blink, the whole table had changed its direction where Sir. Alfano's back faced the entrance through which I had entered.     All the members of the council were seated in their position. A projector was in front of Sir. Alfasno and he had the pen drive I had it in my hand. Whereas for me, I stood in front of the white screen. The whole room turned dark and the light from the projector was the only source.      "Hello everyone, I am Scarlett. Jones, a human working in star moon pack as the head of the advisory committee and also the head of the innovation committee. Today I am going to address the current problem we are facing from the past 5 years." I left a breath to ensure I am not blocking the screen.     "All know that vampires can never undergo aging, a werewolf can survive even if their companion encounters death as far as white magicians and dark magicians can never make ill use of their ability but lately everything is going downhill." I took the stick which was above the screen.     "Vampires got to know they can undergo aging along with his/her companion, a werewolf who lost his/her companion go crazy and become abusers. The dark and white magicians are undergoing severe reduction in their power and also the numbers." I showed the graph I had made calculating the deaths, power, and time.     "You may all think this is the first time you are facing but this is not it. It has happened with humans 1000 years ago. Some of the scientists predicted that humans may have up to 120 years to live but in the real world they would die after a hundred. After some time humans lived till 60 years and started dying." I showed the pics of 1820.     "Everyone thought it to be pollution, yes that was one of the reasons, but the real reason was Quyane star which absorbs the life inside the earth. It was doing its job absorbing till some time after that the climate changed and it stopped for some reason. This was observed by Professor William. Smith" Professor William. Smith was displayed.     "He was a great observer and researcher. After observing all this he found the solution that is building a machine that protects the start from absorbing power. He even showed it in a lot of conferences but was ruled out. After his death, the supernatural came and captured the earth."     "The solution for the current problem is the research files and the machine-building details. I would not like to go much into the details but he knew that supernatural exists. His instruction to build involves all the supernatural on the earth." I kept the stick on the table.     "The main thing this project involves humans, not as a blood bag, slave, or sacrifice as the finder. Professor William. Smith's research papers are too complicated for my understanding and I need human brains as well as human employees to build this so I have some things in my with respect to humans."      I couldn't see anyone. I could only hear my heartbeat and the light from the projector. After a few seconds, the projector was turned off and the darkness evaporated with the light. "What are your demands?" Sir. Alfasno asked a straight forward question.     "To give humans their freedom back, the amendment of supernatural law favoring humans and also adding human as the council member." A thick silence enveloped throughout the room. Then I heard the laughter not the supporting one but the mocking one.      I was afraid that they will outright reject the idea and also my demands.
