Kabanata 7 : Trapped

Celestia's Point of View

“Faster Celestia. They're now waiting downstairs!” sigaw sa akin ni Geordi.

Inis ko siyang tiningnan bago isuot ang sandals. Just like what I promised yesterday. I'll help Noe and Tyrio to find gifts for their family. Plus, Geordi's coming with me.

“Goodmorning!” I greeted them at the lobby.

Noe's wearing a blue polo shirt and a black maong pants. Tyrio's wearing his casual wear with a shades.

They looked really hot! I shook my head. Probably, we'll look like one hella maid with them.

“Hi!” the two greeted then eyed the girl beside me.

“So, she's coming.” Noe stated then nods. Iginiya nila kami palabas hanggang sa bumungad sa amin ang isang puting van.

“Let's go? I'm sure they're now bored of waiting.” kumunot ang noo ko at napatigil sa pagpasok sa van.

“They're? You mean...” Tyrio and Noe nodded at me.

Damn! So it means that he's also there? I didn't see this one coming though .

“O-okay.” I retain my composure as I watch the road while we're on the drive to the mall they're pertaining to.

The view is kinda amazing that it throws all my thoughts away. Geordi waved her hand at my face.

“Nandito na tayo.” she said with a small smile. I nodded at sumunod na palabas ng sasakyan.

Tyrio and Noe walks with us naturally. They're oblivious, everyone's eyes is now on us. Scratch that, everyone's attention is on them.

I shrugged. Well, I can't hide the fact that they're shining among all the boys here.

They headed to the nearest restaurant. We just followed them until I saw bunch of guys sitting near the windows.

“What took you so long?” nakangusong saad ni Beau. Nagkibit balikat sina Noe bago ako tingnan.

Oh no he's blaming me!

Napanganga ako bago kumunot ang noo. He can't just lie to them. Noe is so kind that it's creeping me out.

Naupo kami sa table nila. Geordi awkwardly laughed with them. I elbowed her so that I can get her attention.

“What?” she asked. “Kakain na tayo. Their treat.”

“I'm going to pee.” saad ko. She frowns at me.

“Huh? Don't tell me kailangan pa kitang samahan at ako ang magpupunas ng-”

“Shut up.” namumula kong pigil sa kaniya. Tumayo na ako bago pa makapag tanong ang mga lalake.

She really can't stop her big mouth. Minsan talaga napapaisip ako kung bakit ko pa sinasabi sa kaniya ang mga ginagawa at gagawin ko.

I shrugged bago humarap sa salamin ng comfort room. I looked at my eyes bago lumabas. But before I could reach our table ay may nakabangga na agad sa akin.

“I'm sorry.” I said then bowed. The man didn't even looked at me. Nilagpasan niya lang ako na parang walang nangyari!

He's weird though. Naglakad na ako sa table namin at naabutang nandoon na ang mga pagkain na inorder nila.

“Enjoy your food it's my treat.” ngitian ako ni Zac. I returned him a smile bago kumain.

They just talked and laughed while eating. Samantalang kami ni Geordi ay tahimik na nakamasid sa kanila.

“Uy! Salamat nga pala Celestia sa pagsama samin ha?” nginitian ko si Branwen.

“Okay lang.” I said a lie. In fact, ang alam ko lang na sasamahan ko ay si Noe at Tyrio but then...

Wala akong nagawa kundi bumuntong hininga. I should stop thinking baka mamaya binabasa na naman ni Branwen ang utak ko.

“Kapag kase kami lang ang bumili ng regalo it'll be a total chaos.” saad ni Vito habang umiiling.

“Bakit?” tanong ko sa kaniya. He just frowned.

“Well, last time we bought gifts, Soren and Zacchaeus just bought a cheap gloves, cotton and many more nonloving gifts.” Geordi and I giggled at what Sean said.

“Plus, Tyrio whines a lot whenever he sees this I don't know brand of bags.” Tyson rolls his eyes.

“And obviously Sean and Tyson will always end up at the coffee shop.” umirap si Tyrio kay Tyson pagkatapos sabihin iyon.

“Si Aramis naman laging inuuna ang mga movies. And Noe is nowhere to be found, as always.” dagdag ni Vito bago umiling.

“I remember last time Ate is so happy because Beau gave her an eyeliner!” natatawang sabi ni Soren. Everyone laughed while looking at Beau.

“Seriously Beau, are you gay?” tanong ni Branwen. Beau frowns at him.

“Why is it bad? I just like eyeliner cause it makes me more attractive!” saad niya sabay kindat.

Seriously these guys is really something!

“Let's finish this then we'll start shopping.” Saad ni Zac. True enough dahil matapos niyang sabihin iyon ay nanahimik na ang mga lalaki at kumain na lang.

I didn't move when I finished eating my food. Ayokong mapunta ang paningin ko sa katabi ni Branwen, which is Zacchaeus.

Kanina pa siya walang imik. He just smiles whenever the boys joke. And I hate the fact that I like his smile. I want him to smile more!

I shook my head. I should stop now, it's no good.

Nang matapos ang lahat kumain ay lumabas na kami ng resto at nagsimula ng mag-stroll.

We enter the first clothing store. Agad na naghiwalay ang mga lalaki upang makapamili.

Sumunod ako kay Noe dahil dire-diretso siya sa fitting room kahit walang dalang damit.

“Noe, saan ka pupunta?” I asked curiously. He eyed me once bago tingnan ang harapan niya.

“Lutang na naman ako. Akala ko may dala akong damit. ” he scratched his head bago pumunta sa akin. “Can you help me find gifts for my mother and father?”

I nodded at him. Tinungo namin ang isang shelves kung saan naka-display ang mga pambabaeng damit.

“Come here...” I said before turning to Noe. He's just looking at the clothes.

“My mother likes tiger print.” he said. I nodded at him agad akong naghanap ng sinabi niya. I found one pair of sleep wear with a tiger print kaya kinuha ko ito at ipinakita kay Noe.

“What about this?” ipinakita ko sa kaniya ang pares ng sleep wear at agad kumislap ang mata niya.

“That's it!” saad niya bago kunin ang damit sa akin. “Thank you Celestia,”

Ngumiti ako sa kaniya may sasabihin pa sana ako ng higitin ako ni Beau.

“Help me please.” he said then pouted. I smiled sheepishly at him.

Their shopping went on and on. Magsasabi sila nang gusto ng mga reregaluhan nila at magsu-suggests naman ako ng ireregalo nila.

“Stop it Tyrio.” bulong ni Vito ng marating namin ang isang bag store.

“Please buy me that.” saad ni Tyrio habang nakaturo sa isang bag.

Gucci.

“We're here to buy gifts not to shop for ourselves okay?” saad ni Zac bago akbayan si Tyrio at hilahin sa isang banda ng store.

Vito sighed besides me. Tumingin siya sa akin bago nagkibit balikat.

“Sorry for him.” saad niya bago sundan sina Zac at Tyrio.

I looked at them. They sure looks like a big family. I wonder what's Geordi's doing now? Kasama niya si Aramis sa isang utensils store.

“Celestia, please help these kids. Nakakainis na sila kanina pa!” Saad ni Sean kasama sina Tyson, Sage, Soren at Zacchaeus.

Oh s**t! No. Sa buong maghapon na pamimili nila ay ngayon lang ako ulit nalapit nang ganito kay Zacchaeus. Literally, ngayon ko lang nakasama si Zacchaeus mula kanina.

“Ginugulo nila ako habang namimili.” umismid si Sean at nagtungo sa pwesto ni Branwen.

Nagtawanan si Sage at Soren. Zacchaeus remains silent while looking at them.

“Tulungan mo kami please? Ayokong mapahiya ulit kay Mommy.” natatawang saad ni Soren.

“Whatever mahal pa rin ako ng pamilya ko pangit man ang katabi ko.” Saad ni Tyson. Binatukan siya ni Soren kaya nagkaasaran ulit sila.

Nag-iwas ako ng tingin habang nakangisi. These guys are really something.

“Doon tayo sa shoe store na tabi lang nito.” hinigit kami bigla ni Beau habang nahagikhik.

The boys also giggles while we're being drag. Nang marating namin ang store ay agad silang nawala sa paningin ko.

Ngayon alam ko na ang paghihirap ni Zac at Vito na bantayan ang sampung isip bata sa loob ng isang mall.

“Nasaan na sila?” I murmured. I stomped my feet while looking for them . I'm very tired. Masyadong mataas ang energy nila!

“Let them.” I froze for a moment before collecting all my confidence.

Face him with confident, Celestia!

“Paano pag-iniwan nila tayo?” I said as i faced Zacchaeus behind me.

“They won't. For now, help me.” Saad niya bago maglakad palayo. I just stood there. Napahawak ako sa dibdib ko.

Why are you beating too fast for him? Bakit sa kaniya?

Naalarma ako ng tumingin siya sa akin ng naka kunot ang noo.

“Faster.” napalunok ako bago sumunod. Ang sungit, siya na nga itong tutulungan.

Napunta kami sa isang jewelry store. I looked at him.

He really is handsome whenever he's serious. I shook my head. I'm here to help not to flirt! Damn.

“For a girl.” I snapped back to reality nang magsalita si Zacchaeus.

Kumunot ang noo ko at tumingin sa kaniya.

“I said help me find a gift for a girl.” napatango ako at agad na tumingin sa mga apparatus nang mga kwintas.

For a girl? Oh hell yeah right! Baka ireregalo niya ito kay Mia. Ang tanga ko para kalimutan na umamin nga pala sa kaniya si Mia kahapon. And obviously baka aamin rin sa kaniya si Zacchaeus.

Saklap!

A wave of pain strucked me. Wala ka nang pag-asa kaya wag ka nang umasa Celestia. I smiled bitterly at myself.

“Here.” itinuro ko sa kaniya ang kwintas na may pendant na isang maliit na tiara.

How the hell I can managed to help him while I'm breaking into pieces inside? Funny.

“Well, I don't mind that. But, I think it's exaggerated. Choose another such as braceclet.” nagulat ako sa sinabi niya.

He shouldn't consider this as an exaggeration! Hell. Para nga 'to sa confession niya di ba?

Oh! I shouldn't care.

I sighed. Bago tumango at magtungo sa apparatus ng mga braceclet. Sumunod lang siya sa akin habang nasa magkabilang bulsa ang kamay.

I looked at the bracelets. I examined it one by one hanggang sa tumigil ang mata ko sa isa. Itinuro ko sa kaniya ang isang simple pero eleganteng tingnan na braceclet.

It's a bracelet with a crystal design. Tumango siya sa akin.

“I'll get this one.” saad niya.

Tumalikod na ako at naglakad palabas ng store. But before I leave binigyan ko muna ng isang tingin ang kwintas na napili ko kanina.

I'm sure Mia would celebrate. Isang Zacchaeus ang nagkagusto sa kaniya. Wala na ako sa sarili nang pumunta ako sa isang store.

Napatingin ako sa isang polo.

Bakit? Paano ako napunta sa clothing store ng mga lalaki? I looked at the cloth infront of me. Kinuha ko ito at tiningnan.

A white long sleeves polo. Naalala ko bigla si Zacchaeus. He's really hot lalo na kapag mga ganitong damit ang suot niya.

Napailing ako bago ngumiti. Wala naman sigurong masama kung bibilhin ko ito diba? Bibilihin ko pero itatago. I'm not going to give him this. Mamaya ay sugudin pa ako ni Mia. I don't want a fight.

Dumiretso ako sa counter at binayaran ang damit. Nang tumingin ako sa labas ay nakita ko si Zacchaeus na nakatingin sa akin. Madilim ang aura na nakapalibot sa kaniya habang nanunusok ang tingin.

I immediately rushed to him. Pinagtitinginan na siya dito sa labas.

“Kanino yan?” he asked with a conviction habang nakatingin sa dala kong paper bag.

Itinago ko ito sa likuran ko at namumulang tumingin sa kaniya.

“I-it's for someone.” I stammered. Mas lalong dumilim ang tingin niya sa akin. He eyed me once then turned his back on me.

Napabuga ako ng hininga. He really is intimidating! Sumunod na ako sa kaniya patungo sa isang restaurant.

Nang makarating kami sa loob ay naroon na ang iba. They occupied two long table.

They eyed us then frowns.

“We're hungry! Ang tagal nina Aramis,” Tyrio pouted.

“Relax, who knows baka naka-score na si Aramis?” saad ni Tyson habang natawa.

“Perhaps third base?” kumunot ang noo ko sa sinabi ni Soren.

“Third base? What's third base?” I asked curiously. They looked at me with shock expressions before chuckling.

“Not a girl thing, baby.” saad ni Sage sabay kindat sa akin. Beau hit him then looked at Zacchaeus.

“Yeah right. Third base when they're with Noe?” they all laughed when Branwen said that.

Mas lalong kumunot ang noo ko. What the hell is third base?

Vito and Zac looked at me. They just smiled then tapped my shoulder.

“Don't mind them.” Zac said.

I nodded then look at the menu. I'm hungry and i'm craving for a Cilantro-lime shrimp pasta!

Too bad wala ito sa menu so I just chose a pasta recipe.

They continue to talk but thirty minutes had passed but there's no trace of Aramis, Noe and Geordi.

“They're not yet here?” tanong ni Beau galing sa comfort room. We nodded then sighed.

“I'm starting to get worried.” I said to them. They just tilt their head then started to check on their phones.

“No messages. Kung may iba silang pupuntahan I'm very sure na mag memesage o tatawag si Noe sa atin. ” nag-aalalang saad ni Sean.

I nodded. Then scrolls on my phone. Wala ding messages. Sigurado akong kung kikidnap-in man ni Geordi ang love of her life niyang si Aramis ay tatawag muna iyon sa akin.

“Something's off,” saad ni Zacchaeus. I looked at him worriedly.

Ipinilig ko ang ulo at agad na tinawagan ang number ni Geordi. It takes five rings nang sagutin niya ito!

“Hello? Oh my God Geordi where the hell are you?!” I exclaimed.

The boys looks at my direction. I was about to inform them when suddenly someone answer it.

“Celestia! C-come here at the third floor.” my eyes widened when I heard Noe trying very hard to speak.

The call immediately ended.

“What happened?” the boys asked worriedly.

“I-i don't know. Noe answered the call pinapapunta tayo sa third floor.” I said they all looked confuse while looking at me.

“I knew it!” agad na tumayo si Zacchaeus kasunod si Branwen.

“Dark enchanters.” bulong ni Branwen.

What?

Agad na nagsitayuan sina Vito. Tumayo si Soren at bigla na lang nawala! The boys rushes to go to third floor as well as me.

Soren uses his teleportation just now! Agad kaming umakyat sa escalator then there, we saw the other enchanters.

They are all wounded! The white marble tiles was covered by their blood.

The boys cursed. Zac is now calling someone. Zacchaeus and the others looks worried.

They examined the second floor while Vito and Sean went to the third floor to help Aramis and Noe.

When I saw the elevator widely open. I didn't think twice to enter the lift.

“Damn. Celestia, where the hell are you going?” I heard Zacchaeus shouted while running towards the lift. But it's too late, nagsarado na ang pinto nito.

Agad kong pinindot ang floor three. I'm very worried! Geordi should be safe.

Hindi ko alam kung bakit sobrang tagal magbukas ng elevator gayong isang palapag lang naman ang itataas nito.

The light started to corrupts. I immediately panicked and hit the elevators door.

“What's happening?” I panickly asked as I continue hitting the elevators door.

“Well, what do we have here? A girl trapped inside the elevator?” I froze when someone spoke behind me.

Nanginginig akong humarap sa likuran ko. My eyes widened when I saw a man in a dark cloak. The half of his face is hidden but I can see the smirk plastered in it.

“W-who are you?” mahinang tanong ko. Napaatras ako ng lapitan niya ako.

Oh no. Someone please help me!
