CHAPTER FOUR

He got into a relationship today with a lady he had never met but Nana was deeply fond of. He knew her name was Stephanie due to their little introduction earlier. But moments ago Aaron had blacklisted his girlfriend’s number.
“ Nana, tell her it is apartment 705 on the sixth floor of Block C.”
“ Alright, I’ll let her know go ahead with your meeting.”
Grandma Tia was a woman of prompt character, she hung up the call and passed the message to Stephanie.
Aaron quickly unbanned Stephanie's number from his blacklisted lists.
He saved Stephanie contact and then sent an apology text to her.
Aaron: [ I’m sorry, I forgot who you were before.]
Stephanie didn’t take the incident to heart and let it slide.
Grandma Tia Sons and daughters in law thanked Stephanie personally when she saved her life . By the time the grandsons arrived Stephanie was long gone, hence Aaron couldn’t keep track of her.
Even though Nana had mentioned Stephanie more than a few times, Aaron paid no utmost importance to it. He could barely remember her name.
Stephanie: [ It all fine, just do your thing and I’m moving my stuffs up the stairs.]
Aaron: [ Do you need help?]
Stephanie: [ I only have two suitcases and I can move it by myself. Besides, will you really come back and help if I need it?]
Aaron: [ No.]
Aaron was always busy and he has a very tight schedule, how could he find time to help her move ?
Stephanie with a funny emoji that showed she was laughing. She didn’t want to distract him from his meeting so she cut the conversation from going on.
Aaron too had stopped messaging, there was nothing to talk about since they hardly know themselves .
He wished that he would have a gentle girlfriend that wouldn’t disturb him over the pettiest things. He was too busy to give her all the time of the day.
Dropping his phone back on the table , and raising his head up Aaron realized all eyes were on him.
With his cold face , Aaaron cleared his throat and said “ Let’s get back to the meeting.”
Sitting very close to Aaron was his cousin Luke. Amongst the cousins within that same age bracket with Aaron, Luke was Second.
Luke bent his neck forward and whispered to Aaron. “ I overhead your talk with Nana, did you really started a relationship with that girl?”
Aaron shot him a cold look and Luke instantly comported himself.
Luke had nothing but sympathy for Aaron, he knew Nana was adamant on Aaron getting hooked with Stephanie.
There was absolutely no need for the Hamilton boys to secure social and financial standing through marriage, but Aaron and his new girlfriend were not in the same class, not in any way.
Stephanie eventually dragged her bags to the entrance of the apartment, she opened the door only to step into a spacious house. The place was bigger and more decked than her house.
Setting down her suitcase, she looked around and realized this place would be her home from now on.
The apartment has one big living room, three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and two balconies.
Each room was broad and wide, the house was barely furnished suggesting that it was newly bought, there was only a sofa set with a coffee table in the living room, the two bedrooms were with a bed and wardrobe, and the master bedroom had an en-suite facilities, a complete walk-in closet, study and bathroom. That must be Aaron’s room Stephanie concluded .
Stephanie was left with the room, the bed was big enough for two people to share. The balcony was open to the out the space, and she would love the view every morning when she wakes up.
Since they were sharing the room, both Stephanie and Aaron would enjoy their personal space. Stephanie made up her mind she would not propose spending time as a lovers except Aaron asked for it.
Stephanie checked the kitchen and balconies and intended to get kitchen wares online and also fill the balconies with plants and a swing. She could enjoy her evenings there while reading a book or taking a botanical view on the swing during her free time.
From her observations it showed that Aaron rarely came up for dinner, but now that she's here home made foods were a must. Stephanie already ordered the kitchen wares online, as for the plants she wanted to ask of Aaron’s opinion before getting them.
After all it was his house and she was simply crashing there.
Stephanie was hungry and needed to fill her stomach, she picked up her phone and googled the nearest McDonald's so she could grab something to eat, she figured Aaron might be hungry too and would be expecting dinner. Stephanie navigated to w******p and messaged him.
Stephanie: [ There's no kitchen utensils so I cant cook, I'm thinning of going to McDonald to grab something, do you care for some?]
Stephanie waited for five minutes before Aaron replied to her message.
Aaron:[ Oh I should have mentioned it to you earlier, There's no need for you to go down to McDonald. I'll just get a full meal from the restaurant on my way home, what do you want to order?]
Stephanie:[ I would prefer grilled steak mashed with baked potatoes with some vegetables with a big bottle of Cola.]
Aaron: [ Sends an emoji that portrayed him rolling his eyes. Okay, will be home soon.]
Stephanie:[Okay.]
Stephanie grabbed her towels from her suitcase, and headed to the bathroom, after taking about thirty minutes washing her body while singing along, after bathing she grabbed her pyjamas and allowed the weariness wear her to sleep.
Aaron got home later and whipped out his keys to unlock the door but he couldn't and that means Stephanie had locked him out.
This was his house!
He allowed her to come in, and yet she locked him out .
Furious and full of rage he kicked the door. Bang.!!
He resulted to get Stephanie on the phone and pulled out his phone.
Stephanie woke up startled from that kick, She had slept off while waiting for Aaron but who was pounding the door at the middle of night?
She stormed out in her pyjamas to see who was at the door.
“ Who is there? and why are you banging at my door?.”
Stephanie ran her mouth before umlocking the door. She paused for moment before getting a hold of herself and put on a friendly face.
She was totally embarrassed seeing it was Aaron,“ Oh, it's you Aaron.”
Stephanie muttered and she allowed him entered the house.
