She looks PISSED!

Kasy We are all sat by ourselves in the cafeteria, laughing at the Emo girl and Dawn starts to quiz me about Jonah. “I can’t believe you girls got her like that! I mean that was incredible!” “Not as badass as your hole “if you mess with a coven sister you best look behind you Biatch” We roar with laughter at Jo’s impression of me. They sure showed her. “Sorry about Dean Eloise, but I think he was a bit of a smuck, wanting to date an original Witch for the credit of it you know.” I shrug. “HEY! Why if someone wants to date me is he doing it for the street cred!” Eloise says in mock offense. Her actions of grabbing her heart have us all laughing again. “What’s up with the Mage, kasy?” Dawn pierces me with another stern gaze. “Oh my god! Would you stop looking at me like my mother, jeesh Dawn, you’re scaring me!” She laughs but isn’t giving up on the question. She knows I’m deflecting. “Spill Kasy” Layla chips in. “OK OK, goddess I don’t know. He’s different than I thought he was I guess.” I sigh I can’t help it. Feeling a bit embarrassed over my obvious attraction to the Mage I wave the girls laughter off. “Leave it out!” I tell them. The bell rings, it’s time for our middle class. Which looking at our class tables is with Mrs Leck! “I’m looking forward to a class with Mrs Leck! She’s so fun.” Layla jumps up ready to leave. “OK, keep your panties on!” “Ha you mean her bra! DOUBLE DS TO THE FACE! Speaking of said boobs where is there main love interest?” Jo elbows Layla raising her eyebrows. “Haven’t seen him since we came in, he hasn’t text me or anything either.” I feel for Layla, but she doesn’t half pick them! Always the complicated ones. Can’t just have a crush on a normal boy. “We may be allowed out at lunch, or maybe after school! I want to look around” as I say this Dawn groans. “You mean get in trouble! It always lands with you getting us in trouble.” “It does not!” “Move your butt’s get to class.” We head upstairs from the cafeteria, going up to the very top of the west wing of the castle. “I wonder what she teaches!” “I’m not sure, maybe seeing into the future!” “Maybe it’s making zombies!” “Maybe it’s love spells” “Will you all get up those stairs so we aren’t late!” Dawn hisses at us all. “Yes ma’am!” we all shout at her; we gather some strange looks for this but we pay them no attention. Life has got to be fun! Or what’s the point. We enter the very top tower and Mrs Leck’s room is very much like the woman herself. Bohemian is the style, I think. “Good afternoon our latest celebrities!” She calls at us and waves to seats at the front of the class, no hiding out at the back for us then. We take our seats and unpack just as we have every class. “Right for our latest students, I’m going to run through what I teach” There are some groans from the back of the class. Dawn turns and stares them down; I try to suppress the giggle that leaves my lips but I can’t. “You can’t tell everyone off mate!” “Watch me” is all she says!! Dawn is my best friend out of all the girls, she gets me and doesn’t take any crap from anyone! “Right, well firstly I’m Mrs Leck, but you already know that. I teach runes, which ones will work with what spell. Also, your stones so kasy your stone for magical use will be amethysts. They could be large or small depending on the use.” She goes to a cupboard behind her and pulls out some small stones. “You will no doubt have amethysts, from your great grand parents days that your parents use. I would expect in the coming years as you descend into power of coven leader and your parents retire. The stones will pass to you for your use.” Mrs Leck places the stones on my table. “These will do in a pinch. They aren’t any heirloom stones but they will work none the less. I request all of you to check what your parents have packed, as I’m sure you will find a pouch of your stones there.” “That’s what there for!” Dawn asks. “Yes, well done Dawn on finding yours” I look at the stones and they are beautiful. “Your elemental stones will help boost your power, they can store your power, these are how white witches stay white in a nut shell girls.” She turns to the class. “How do we stay white witches’ class? Can we tell the girls our rhyme please?” WITHCHES STAY WHITE THEY SHINE SO BRIGHT DO NOT LET IT FADE FOR THE GREY THAT SHADES WILL FOREVER BE PAID. “WWll done class, girls did you get the meaning of our rhyme?” I put my hand up. “Yes kasy” “When you are a white Witch your magic stays true to the colour of your house, but the moment you use your magic for a purpose that only profits yourself. It starts to turn grey in colour.” “Well done, Kasy!” She applauds me. I look back as I hear someone snicker, its the black haired Emo girl. Trying not to laugh as her mate whispers in her ear. I smile at them and give them a little wave. Dawn turns and looks at the girls, a little smile spreads across her face and then she raises her hand! I’m curious as to what Dawn is about to say, it’s not like her to ‘tell’ on people. We’re a more get even bunch us lot. “Mrs Leck?” “Yes kasy” “What is the power that the original houses have over normal Witches?” Mrs Leck has watched the little display from the back of the class. I can tell from her expression that she doesn’t think to highly of the Emo girl and her friend. Mrs Leck’s face is so very easy to read. “I’m so very glad you asked Dawn. How about a little show? You, kasy and girls at the back. As you clearly have something to say, why don’t you come on up here.” I look at Dawn who’s as gobsmacked as me! Who knew Mrs Leck had it in her? Whoa she’s got balls The girls slowly get up giving Mrs Leck the universal evil stare of the teenager! They drag there feet to the front of the class and stand side by side at one end of the front. Mrs Leck motions for me and Dawn to take our places at the other end. We get up and do as we are told. “I would like you girls to perform a simple growing spell, that speeds up the life of the seeds growing in these plant pots.” Going to the back cupboard again and taking two pots out. “Both hold sunflower seeds, Mary-jo and leanne you will grow this pot together. Kasy and Dawn you will grow this pot.” “But Dawns an Earth Witch!” Mary-jo calls out. “Kasy is a spirit Witch against two water Witches. It levels out as Kasy’s magic isn’t designed for this sort of task either.” Mrs Leck tells them. But I already knew that having done spells like this in the coven. I funnel my magic to Dawn, that’s my job in this. “Girls I taught you this spell last week and Dawn I’m assuming being a Coven Sister you already know what to do?” Dawn nods in agreement. “How is that fair then!” Mary-jo asks again. I roll my eyes at her. “We’re showing you why we are more powerful, remember?” My Snarky comment gets a raised eyebrow but nothing else from Mrs Leck. I really thought that I was going to get reprimanded for that! “Are both sides ready.” “We are” me and Dawn confirm and the others just nod. “OK away you go girls” Mrs Leck turns to give the others her back, just as she is about to swing round. She winks at me; I smile at her. Honestly my favourite teacher EVER! Dawn holds her hand out to me, I stare at Mary-jo and put my hand into Dawns with a smirk. Mary-jo seems confused, so does her mate. Well, they are about to get a real clear warning of just how powerful we are. Whilst they are each starting to chant whatever spell they got taught. My magic is already funnelling into Dawn and all Dawn has to do is raise her hand. I start to glow purple from my hand in Dawns. Mary-jo elbows her friend and nods to my hand glowing in Dawns. Her friend whispers in her ear and she looks PISSED! HA! Someone’s just been told we can share our power with our coven. Whilst these girls aren’t in a coven nor are they original families their power is weaker and they have to rely on just their own juice. Which isn’t enough. Mary-jo hits the plant pot with everything she’s got. As her chanting picks up speed, a weak blue magic, flows from her into the pot. Once the last trickles have left her finger tips the plant just sprouts above the pot line. Dawn is still drawing power from me, my palm just gets brighter and brighter. The girls are looking at my hand a bit nervous. Dawn waves the next girl on to go ahead, its very much the same as Mary-jo a weak blue power flows from her hand, as she chants, it gets brighter and the little shoot grows. It grows more than Mary-jo made it grow most definitely! Dawn looks at me “Ready?” she asks. “Always” I say. Dawn raises her hand and smiles sweetly at the girls. Then she doesn’t need any words all Dawn does is raise her hand towards the plant and let her magic flow. No spell no stones just what’s inside us all. The bright emerald green magic hits the plant pot with such power it nearly topples it. The shoot instantly grows into a blooming sun flower and its so beautiful. I look at the other girls sand they are smiling. Mary-jo and her Mate not so much, they’ve just eaten some real bitter lemons if their faces are anything to go by. “Do the other one, we’ve got plenty left.” I tell Dawn who nods in agreement. The green power flows to the other pot and it instantly grows the same and becomes a beautiful sunflower too. Mrs Leck is cheering us on. “Oh well done girls! Your parents have taught you well.” When Dawn lowers her hand and looks at Mrs Leck her face is pondering. She has an idea; I know that face! “Got any more miss?” Mrs Leck nods in complete understanding, Yes I do Dawn.” She runs to the cupboard bringing out a trolley of over fifty plants and she starts lining them up. “Ready?” “Ready miss” Dawn raises her hand and let’s the magic flow, it feels so natural the feeling of her magic. The first ten plants erupt and as they grow the next ten sprout and erupt. As soon as that row starts the next row starts and so on. Until all five rows have started to grow, my hand only then starts to glow more brightly again as Dawn takes more power from me. In a minute we have fifty-two fully grown and bloomed sun flowers. Dawn drops her hand and smiles at Mrs Leck. “Any juice left in the tanks girls?” She asks us. “Well, I feel fine, you” Dawn answered and asks me “Yea I’m all good, line up another hundred!” I laugh at the shocked face of Mary-jo and her Mate. Mrs Leck laughs. “Thank you, girls, for that demonstration. Does anyone have any questions about why original families are different from normal Witches?” Mrs Leck asks the glass. Everyone is just sat there staring at the flowers in shock! I think we made our point.
