Lisa's POV

my name is Lisa Watson I grew up in a small town with my parents I was the only child of my mother and father we all had a wonderful relationship.

I recently found out that my mother was hiding something from me for almost a year, yes me and my mother have always been inseparable we spent nearly everyday together watching random shows on Netflix,making dinner together going for a spa date , shopping or just talking. my Dad even got us friendship bracelets and matching outfits as a joke because my mom was my BFF.we didn't have secrets between us.she kept telling me that I'm the most important person in her life but as it turned out that was not the case...

My mother not only betrayed me,but also tore our perfect family apart.the thing is my mom was not only my Bff she also helped me overcome one of the most difficult period of my life because when I was 17 years old I got pregnant And yeah the baby's father freaked out and left me I was absolutely crashed during my first two months of my pregnancy but my parents, especially my mom were really supportive .my pregnancy made me and my mom even closer.

she even encouraged me to go on dates when I was ready to start dating again I got matched with Jonathan Jackson on a dating site.We were chatting and he asked me out I wasn't sure I should agree but my mom encouraged me to go and have fun, so the next day we met at a local restaurant, Jonathan Jackson was a total sweetheart we hit it off right away and talked for hours about everything. He made me laugh so hard that I even forgot all the heartache I had to go through after our date I was in heaven.

After that day Jonathan and I talked everyday about everything except about my current condition he would send me gifts and take me on dates, everything was going perfectly I had forgotten about the heartache I was going through, I was four months pregnant and my baby bump was beginning to show and I hadn't told my now boyfriend Jonathan. In these past two months no intimacy happened between us we would only hug and kiss one day he took me on a romantic drive and we went start gazing it was so romantic I was enjoying his company a little too comfortable than I was supposed to be afterwards he took me to his house we watched a movie during the movie 🍿 he kept staring at me I could see him from the corner of my eyes... suddenly he kissed me I froze instantly what are you doing I asked him he stared at me and said we have been dating for two months now shouldn't we take things another level I was dumbfounded before I could recover he kissed me again but this time around I pushed him back got up and took my purse "I should leave Thanks for tonight goodnight" with that I walked out of his apartment and held a cab to take me home. when I got home I saw mom working on her laptop I decided not to disturb her as I retired to my room I lay on my bed deep in thoughts I am going to tell him the truth those were the last words that come out of my mouth as I drifted off in deep slumber.

Hazel's POV

I got a text from my husband saying he is working late and we should have dinner without him I sighed softly as I will be having dinner on my own today; Lisa was probably hanging out with her new boyfriend but that doesn't mean am fine with whatever is going on, my relationship with Lisa has always been special she is my everything as I would do anything to make her happy I recall, when she was a little girl and asked me to read her bed time stories everyday but now my baby is out somewhere, honestly I was so disappointed to learn that she was pregnant how did that happen.she was supposed to be my perfect little girl my best friend we would tell each other things and spend lots of time together when and how did everything change .I am glad that I told her to date someone as I didn't want to risk her health. Looking at my own health report I signed sadly as I remembered what had happened the thing Is last week as I was working in my office I suddenly felt dizziness and lightheadedness I didn't think much as I was a person who never got sick often, I stood up to get a bottle of water when I collapsed to the ground luckily my secretary was there to help me and drove me to the hospital the doctors said I was stable but I had to come back the following day for the blood test results I told my worried husband about everything that happened I could tell by his expression he was not himself so I comforted him and requested he didn't mention this to Lisa. I didn't want her to stress..the next day I went for the results and headed back to my office I decided I was going to open them once I got settled as I was already late for a board meeting.my mind kept drifting away as one of the direct sales manager was presenting something I couldn't quite catch I looked out of the window time seemed still I looked around again and noticed that everyone was getting there documents and exiting the room.

one of my colleagues approached me and asked are you okay Mrs Watson?

yeah I'm fine thank you

you look a little lost, No I'm fine I replied as I stood up to get my things and left the board room, I walked down the corridor to the elevator pressed the 15th floor of my office and when I reached my office I Sat down and looked at the time it was barely lunch hour and I was this exhausted.. I took the envelope which was on my table opened it the contest of the reports shocked me to the bone..

sighing softly I closed the laptop as I didn't want to remember how I felt that day, I went straight to Lisa's room the door was only a jar open I went in only to see she was sleeping I wondered when she got home I didn't even notice I bet she didn't want to disturb me that's why she to went to direct to sleep.

Lisa's POV

Good morning mom, Good morning Dad

Good morning princess her mother answered

how was your Night ;it was Great Dad

so hurry up and have breakfast remember I told you we are going to attend your uncle's wedding my mother said." oh my God I completely forgot "Don't worry just pack a few things everything has been arranged where we are going.

I groaned as I finished packing my bags my parents where waiting for me outside. as we were heading to the airport I couldn't help but worry of what the family members will think of me I was only a teenager and about to become a mother to make matters worse I didn't get the chance to talk to Jonathan I only called him to cancel our meeting luckily he understands that I had a family gathering to attend I wander if he will understand once I tell him the truth.

meanwhile I slept through out the entire flight and when we arrived it was already late we were taken to our respective rooms.

in the morning I got up so early to help out with the decorations one of the people who were in charge said I can help with the flower decorations I was working efficiently when one of my cousin bumped into me making me dropped the flowers they laughed and walked away I was on the brink of tears when someone said don't mind them they are just bullies it was mia my mother's sister's daughter

And that's the last one of them Mia smiled placing the last one of the paper roses she had made inside the vase

I watched her speechless not sure how to thank her*mia had truly saved the day gone where the tacky unprofessional decorations and now they all looked night beautiful and perfect.

What do you think Lisa did I do any better than those guys? I just laughed and pulled her into a warm fuzzy hug,"you did great".

Mia groaned and pulled away glaring at me don't get all emotional on me now you're not even dressed yet. I laughed and blinked, fighting the tears

Indeed.well the wedding decorations have been saved but if you don't get changed now you will be late mia said to me, I blew mia kisses and ran off in the direction of my room.

The wedding was taking place to Dreams hotel, the place where my mother and Mr Smith had their first kiss I remember when mom told me the story of her first kiss.. my room wasn't just a regular it was a freaking suite I chuckled as I remembered how i reacted when the manager led me to my room I instantly thought there was a mistake but indeed it was my room and I wasn't going to miss chance I was going to enjoy my stay. my uncle always loved a luxury life I guess that's why were here for his big day.

sighing loudly I rapped a towel around my body thinking of all the good baths I had, Reluctantly I stepped out of the bathroom shutting the door behind me. Leaning against the wall of the hotel room I sighed sadly.., taking in it's beauty I was definitely going to miss this suite going back home 🏡 after the wedding would be going back to my old boring shower head that only gave me cold water baths .Not that I hated it I love it now that Dad fixed it

Alright time to get ready I said to myself

I stood in front of the wardrobe staring at my dress for the wedding I had picked out a style that wasn't too simple or extral.it was a gown with an off shoulder bodice pattern while the rest of it was fitted than flared from the hips going down wards I wore matching black hills.
