" if you're trying to flirt with me, stop it. as you can see I'm older than you" " I'm just asking for your name what makes you as a man trying to flirt with you" Erin feigned confusion. He was actually not such a bad actor, if only I wasn't good at reading people. " why would I tell you my name?" " because I told you mine, it's only fair" " but I didn't ask for your name" " true but you got it either way so now it's time for you to give me yours" I couldn't help smiling at the kids at ethics. It was really so childish " it's jenny" " it's a pretty name" " thanks" " can I have your number next?" " no" "Why not?" " you're just a kid. and it's mostly because I don't know you" I need to walk away again but Erin just followed me. I sighed " are you a stalker now? " " nope. I was going this Direction as well" " sure you were" I made my way over to the bar with Erin closely behind me. the bar was the only place that wasn't crowded with people " excuse me?" " yeah. What can I get for you?" " a cocktail please" " coming up" The bartender went back to mixing drinks while I turned around but squeaked at how close everyone was standing to me " you okey?" " why are you standing so close to me?" Erin Shrugged with a smile cool stuff healing closely to my face making me back away but only bump into the marble aisle " you smell nice. I mean compared to the smell of alcohol and sweat in here" " you are one creepy kid. But really, shouldn't your dad be looking for you by now?" " stop that" " stop what?" " behaving like you are much older than me" I opened my mouth to say something but shut it back afterwards. There really wasn't much I could say to that since the kid was actually right. I was barely 19 and so wasn't that much older than he was " drinks up" the bartender called Erin smiles at you causing a small blush to creep it's way up to my cheek. I turned promptly hoping he didn't see it " how much for the drink" " it's free" " really?" "Yeah." I didn't actually think such a big hotel will give out free things so casually but who was I to deny free stuff. I thought it maybe I should order a soft drink for Erin too " hey Erin would you like...." I turned back to face the boy but much to my surprise he was not there. Completely gone, he didn't even say goodbye. How rude! " did your boyfriend leave?" The bartender asked looking past my shoulders. I turned back to glare at the man " he's not my boyfriend" " sure thing kid" The man smiled and walked away to serve another customer. I stared down at the liquid in my cup before golfing it down in one long drink. The burn was Far stronger than the one earlier and it left tears in my eyes. Great. now I felt like peeing I'll just use the restroom then find a taxi home. I had enough for one night * * * Turns out much to my dismay that finding your way around a 5-star hotel while completely drunk wasn't easy. Why did I ever agree to come to this stupid party in the first place? Now I was completely lost and on the edge of unconsciousness. I also felt like emptying the contents of my stomach atany moment ' just hold on, maybe Kylie will notice I'm missing and come find me, though that was highly unlikely' I allowed myself to lean against the milk coloured walls of the hallway " you there!" A Distant Call had me turning to the direction. It was a man in uniform walking up to me, even though I couldn't quite make out his features " you can't be here, the party's down the hallways" " I...I know. I just want to go home at the moment" I said The officer looked me up and down ' rude' " do you have your ID with you" " no. It's with my sister, she's back at party" " then stay put while I go get you a taxi. You can remember your address right?" " okey-dokey" The man stare at me hesitantly but eventually turned around and walked down the direction of where the party was. As soon as I couldn't see him anymore I dashed towards the nearest elevator I wasn't stupid enough to get myself tangled with the cops. I knew it would get to my parents and God knows that was the last thing I wanted to happen. I sat dizzily on the elevator floors as it moves up, I walked out of it the moment it's opened. I was stunned when I stepped into a more luxurious part of the hotel. I guess this was supposed to be a VIP, which means I probably wasn't supposed to be here I rested my back against the first door by my left, by now my head was pounding and my eyes were barely open. I was also on the verge of throwing up. I made Bad Choices in life before but this was absolutely the worst. I was done for and this was Kylie's fault. I decided to pull myself up and lie pathetically on the floor and wait for someone to find me Who would have expected that at the next moment the door I was resting against would suddenly open and I will fall crashing backwards. I collided into someone as we both tumbled to the ground I waited for the pain of the impacts to hit me but nothing came except for my headache getting worse of course. feeling so tired, I could only turn my head slightly at an awkward position to see i had fallen on. before I lost consciousness I caught a glimpse of a pale, beautiful face. My vision went dark
