We left the office and rode the elevator to the lobby. Once it arrived at the lobby floor, we got out. I could see my car parked out in front. The car doors open on both sides and the engine purring, sounding like a melody to my ears. I handed the valet guy a twenty-dollar bill as a tip. I got into the driver’s side as Trey got into the passenger side. “Did you leave your car at the office?” I noticed, giving him a confused look. He shook his head no with a grin on his face. “I had an Uber drop me off at the office,” he states, fastening his seat belt. I gave up examining him about why he didn’t have his car.
