Midnight curse

Aura was walking back and forth in her father's small cozy house, it wasn't big but it was comfortable and dad made sure of it. Aura birthday was tomorrow and she just didn't felt like even getting out of the house. Aura ran her fingers through her amber hair , it was the kind of hair girls would do anything to get , aura hair was long and full of life and her dad always said she had beautiful hair . she was standing in front of her mirror and was putting her hair in a high bun, aura cheeks always looked like a bit of blush was on it so she never made the effort to add anything more. As she was heading to go downstairs for breakfast her dad shouted "Aura I want to speak to you about some stuff but later when I get back from work" , as he headed out the door he shouted "I love you !!and whatever I do was for the best for both of us. What was that about aura raised her eyebrows, these past couple of days dad was acting weird but even weirder, my body was doing weird things and I dare not tell him because I didn't want him to think I was crazy. Aura was still in her pj's and decided to grab a coffee and call her friend Maddie while she was at it . " Hey Maddie my dad has been acting weird again,I know!!! "since I'm turning twenty one tomorrow I feel like he's bin acting strange more than usually and it's bugging me out, I'll see you later on . Aura put the phone down and headed back to her room .For the past couple of months aura body has bin doing some creepy stuff and she couldn't understand why , there was times she would wake up at midnight with Vines wrapped around her legs, sometimes even half of her body and there was other days she would be floating in her bed with bright icy blue lights around her , the lights were the same color of her eyes and her dad did always told her they looked like her mom. Aura mom died when she was four years old in a freak accident ,well that's what dad always said . so it was just me and him all our lives. Aura took a quick shower , put on a short pink sun dress and some white sneakers and headed out of the house. she met Maddie at they favourite spot in Greensville , Maddie waved ... aura I'm over here !! well aren't you looking your best the day before your big day. I laughed because it's what Maddie always did to me .she was my best and only friend . Maddie ordered two milkshakes and fries for us it was our thing ." I feel like I'm about to hear some weird and troubling news from my dad because you just never know with him ". aura stated . Maddie grabbed a handful of fries from the plate as if she was starving and we both laughed . " your dad is just being your dad as usual, Nothing weird about that" Maddie mouth was full but she was just rambling on about she would give anything to have a dad like mines because her's left when she was 16 and ever since it was just her mom and her brother .I don't know what I would do if I didn't had Maddie as my friend or in my life . Greensville was beautiful and quiet , not many people and not many stuff to do unless you weren't creative . I for one loved everything about it because sometimes I would say it reminds me of me .Maddie was still stuffing her face and i drifted off in my thoughts. I wasn't skinny like the other girls in my neighborhood , I had curves and was very much a woman in all the areas . I definitely wasn't lacking. Maddie finished the last of her milkshake and we decided to walk it off . "I'm really not excited about my birthday , there isn't much to do around here" I sigh. "Let's go out to the city and spend the night we'll be before your dad gets off work tomorrow just in time to sing you "happy birthday" maddie stated happily . please say yes !!! she said . I didn't wanted to cut her happiness so I said yes. I've only ever bin to the City twice in my life and definitely didn't think it was for me ,but I was much older and decided it was time for a change . We headed home , I packed a pair of heels , clothes for when we return home and a green dress more like the one I was wearing,a bit more out-ish and my makeup, I wasn't much of a makeup person but I would wear when I seen fit .I grabbed my purse wrote a small note to dad and headed out the door. Maddie was already waiting on me she was in her mom's Bmw black and sexy as I would call it . I got into the car,Maddie blast the music and "screamed we're going to have sooooo much funnn!! Fun I hardly did . I rolled my eyes and put my shades on . I was always shy and Maddie knew this ,but she didn't care one bit and that's what I loved must about her .
