10. Cabin Fever
Life was a little less fluffy at Ramsgill Observatory.
This was not just due to the fact that the TV room was three bunnies down. Nor to the fact that Jen had had a row with her boyfriend – Tim, the post doc – who had rushed to the observatory as the alien ship landed, forgetting that she and his son were even in his car. Nor to the fact that Tim had tipped his twelve year old son into a premature teenage rage by pulling the, “Luke I am your father” heavy-breathing-through-my-hand joke, one too many times. Nor to the fact that the Professor’s wife had decided her husband was officially obsessing, and disapprovingly avoided him all day.
It was mostly because Herman was miserable.
She had skipped to the bunny barrier in the morning and found Angus missing without scent. C
