4. Rabbit Revelations
In the face of an impending onslaught of alien troops, Bernie, Rupi, Colin and Dave made a sudden, adrenalin-filled sortie to collect and bring in the rabbits from the car. They rushed out into the car-park warily and had just distributed the four containers between them, plus one disgruntled Herman, when a buzzing whoosh heralded the speedy arrival of what Bernie’s brain insisted on calling an air-speedboat. It had a full contingent of twenty aliens packed tightly together, and powered overhead about ten metres off the ground. It was gone before they even felt the air move.
They shrank, terrified, against the car.
As the air-craft disappeared behind the observatory they remembered to breathe and exchanged worried looks.
