Riven stood before the council of elders, his piercing gaze surveying the room. The elders, once united in their decision to appoint a new Alpha, now wore mixed expressions – shock, disbelief and cautious optimism. I stood behind him eyeing him from time to time as he seems to notice and throws me a smile often too I shyly look away as I felt trepidation and joy at once Smiling,He whispered I love you Before facing the Elders once more Elder Thorne, his face pale, struggled to find words. "Riven... you're... alive." Riven's expression remained stoic, but a hint of weariness crept into his voice. "I've returned to reclaim my rightful place as Alpha." I, Sylvania, stood among the elders, my heart heavy with concern. Riven's return had brought both relief and uncertainty. His disappearance had left our pack vulnerable. I do hope they wouldn't hurt my lover I moved closer to him as I reached to his sides and hugged him from behind missing his warmth He turns to my face with a smile laying his hands on It's okay”he whispered while gently tugging my hug off and instead held hands with me But not without kissing my forehead as my cheeks redden in resignation..I bowed my head in shame not willing to even look the elders in the eye The Elders saw this but choose to ignore It's common Knowledge that Alpha Riven loved me, his woman blessed by moon as they say He even went has far as making me his Mate before I awakened But I can't help but fear…what if I can't? I couldn't help but shiver as I shaked the unlikely thoughts in my head Elder Thorne's expression was grave but for something different. "Riven, your return has sparked mixed reactions. Kaida's supporters may resist your reclaiming of the Alpha title."his eyes trailing to me like it's my fault I just shrinked into my Lover's embrace And he didn't fail me He took me in these time I could swear I saw some of the Elders sneer Hmm..? They are up to no good! I thought Riven's jaw clenched his eyes closed as he pets and pats my head smovely and tenderly with his strong voice reverberating"I will not be swayed. I will restore order and protect our pack." Granting me another kiss, as if to prove a point to the Elders Elder Thian spoke up not minding at all, "Riven, our pack's state is fragile. The Moon Lamp's couldn't point out a culprit involved, and the Holy Blood Pool's verdict on Luna's innocence raised questions but with you here we can confirm what really occured." Riven's gaze turned introspective. "I know. I've failed our pack. But I will make it right and about what happened.. It's all fine now…." His hand froze on the next stroke Before setting in motion again to stroke down my long wolf bred hair But his holds felt somber and pained this time I couldn't help but moan in pain for him as my heart ache to see him hurt like this Awu.. He then covers my moans with a kiss. The elders where begin to have it unbearable already.. So he stopped “You are having fun” he asked me “Hmm”I nodded before leaving his embrace reluctantly After this The Elders eased up Then... Elder Kael's voice was laced with skepticism. "Riven, your absence has weakened our alliances. The eastern packs are hesitant to support us, and the western packs are whispering of rebellion." Almost sounding grudgeful were his words Riven's eyes narrowed before going nonchalant again"We'll address these concerns. But first… Let's solidify our internal unity.I will start mine out with Sylvania here you guys should go ahead with the rest" I blushed unceremoniously but still nodded in agreement. "Riven's right. We can't afford internal conflicts. Our pack's strength relies on unity." The elders almost slapped their face with their palms in frustration Just then, Elder Ryker entered, his expression urgent. "Elders, I bring grave news. The Shadowborn pack, our longtime rivals, seeks to exploit our instability. They've sent a warning: surrender or face attack." Riven's face darkened. "What do you propose? A treaty or war?" Letting go my hands, with a glint in his eyes The elders hesitated, weighing options. I knew Riven's temperament he wouldn't back down and I don't think a few days of absence can change that. Elder Thorne suggested, "Perhaps we could negotiate—" But Riven's anger ignited, his eyes blazing deep red. "War!" he thundered, his voice echoing through the chamber. The room seemed to shudder, as if the very foundations of our pack's sanctuary trembled. The elders, except for Grand Elder Thorne and myself, froze in time. I stood unaffected, my concern for Riven deepening. Grand Elder Thorne, with his immense spiritual strength, also remained immune. Riven's body glowed with an intense, crimson aura, illuminating the chamber. "Riven…. stop!" I pleaded as I froze a bit before rushing forward. But he didn't hear me. Lost in bloodlust, he continued his c*****e. He then turn to me Came closer pulled me as I was being drawn towards what I could call a honeymoon disaster The moon hung low in the sky, casting an ominous glow over the battle-scarred landscape. Riven stood atop a rocky outcropping with me by his side as usual, his eyes burning with determination his hands still holding mine with possessiveness "Warriors of the Silver Moon pack, we march into battle tonight! Our enemies, the Shadowborn, seek to exploit our weakness. We will show them our strength!" The assembled werewolves roared, their fervor echoing through the valley. With a thunderous howl, our pack surged forward, racing toward the Shadowborn's stronghold. The enemy lines awaited, their snarls and growls filling the air. Battle erupted, claws clashing, teeth snapping. Riven led the charge, his power and ferocity unmatched. He tore through enemy lines, ripping flesh and crushing bone. I made it to his side but I was of little use To the war only putting him at risk instead As he takes a strike to his back while trying to cover me.. I gasped before throwing a spear and nailing the wolf by luck I turned to Riven not caring about anything else anymore I.m..sorry” I teared up fearing I might really lose him this time He on the otherhand just laughed as he brushes my face with his blooded hand which I wasn't bothered about And then It's fine Sylva, I have time control remember”he said with a promising smile His body started healing up at visible speed not learning a single blood drop before patching him up It almost like he returned to the moment before battle though a bit exhausted.. Is this time control..? I felt pride in my Lover A few moments after our little drama
