The fight raged on, Riven's transformations grew more erratic. His body contorted, muscles bulging, eyes blazing red. Suddenly, he broke away from our pack, charging solo into the heart of the Shadowborn's stronghold. "Riven, no!" I screamed, rushing after him. But he didn't hear me. Lost in bloodlust, he continued his c*****e. Riven slaughtered Shadowborn warriors with ease, his claws slicing through their defenses. He killed 20, 30, 40... the bodies piled up. Blood soaked his fur, matting it into crimson tangles. His eyes blazed brighter, consuming his rational thought. I watched in horror as Riven's actions became increasingly savage. He fed on the flesh of the fallen, growing stronger with each bite. Fifty Shadowborn lay dead, their lifeless bodies strewn around Riven. He stood victorious, yet lost to his primal instincts. But as he turned to face me, his gaze began to clear. The crimson haze lifted, revealing a glimmer of recognition. Riven's expression changed, his eyes widening in shock. He beheld his blood-soaked form, the c*****e surrounding him. For a moment, I saw the Alpha I once knew, the one who protected our pack with A heart of Justice and a fist of iron and blood Fifty Shadowborn lay dead, their lifeless bodies strewn around Riven. He stood victorious, yet lost to his primal instincts. As the last Shadowborn fell, Riven's gaze swept across the battlefield, his chest heaving with exhaustion. His fur, matted with blood, seemed to glow in the fading moonlight. I approached him, awe and concern mingling within me. "Riven, your strength is unparalleled. You've saved our pack." Riven's gaze locked onto mine, his eyes still blazing with intensity. I saw a glimmer of pride, of satisfaction, before his expression shifted. His eyes, once bright with victory, began to take on a haunting red glow. The crimson haze spread, consuming his irises. My praise faltered taking a step forward in order to be of help as concern grew in me before being replaced by growing unease. "Riven... are you okay?" His response came in a hoarse, unsettling tone: "Never better." As his words hung in the air, Riven's gaze intensified, burning brighter. The red glow enveloped his eyes, erasing all recognizable emotion. No! My heart sank, a chill coursing through my veins. The Alpha I once knew was slipping away. "Alpha of my Silver Moon pack... has gone... Rogue!" The darkness closing in, I could only watch in horror as Riven's transformation continued, his body contorting, muscles bulging. The battle-scarred landscape seemed to fade, replaced by an ominous, blood-soaked future. And in the center, Riven stood, his red gaze piercing the night. The moon dipped in blood below the horizon, casting a dark, ominous shadow over the battle-scarred landscape. Riven's red gaze continued to burn, his body tensed, ready to strike. "Riven, stop!" I screamed, rushing forward once more as my heart stung in dismay But he didn't hear me. Lost in bloodlust, he charged forward, claws extended. “Please snap out of it Riven”I called out to him once more But Kaida appeared suddenly before me after his concerning absence from a while back Stopping my pace What is it” I growled “I was asked to protect you Luna Sylvania, No hard feelings.”He said nonchalant as his charms highlights under the eerie sky I was stunned a bit, as I never knew Kaida was this… Cough*...I cut off the thought before it manifested “I don't need your protection”I barked But seems unmoved “I care not if you need or not. What matters to me is …I protect you” Kaida replied with a strong font with obvious arrogance in his eyes What happened? Was he always like this Then I turned to the battle Our pack's warriors, victorious but weary, stood frozen in horror as Riven attacked. He tore through their defenses, ripping flesh and crushing bone. Allies fell, their cries echoing through the valley. The Shadowborn, sensing our weakness, regrouped and counterattacked. Chaos erupted. Our pack's unity shattered, warriors fled in terror as Riven continued his c*****e. Elder Thorne rushed forward, his spiritual strength radiating. "Riven, snap out of it! You're killing our own!" Riven's response was a snarl, his jaws snapping mere inches from Elder Thorne's face. The elder stumbled back, shocked. "Sylvania, we must act. Riven's lost control." I nodded, determination burning within as I refused to believe his words. "We'll sedate him, restore balance soon, trust me." As I tried to separate myself from Kaida stalls Which was in itself impossible, a wistful thinking. I could only accept this with puffed out cheeks As worry was still creeping in “I hope he's fine though”I said with concern Kaida turned to me as he stared at for a while before turning to watch as he sped up a bit “Matters, not.”I heard him mutter as I struggled to keep up As Riven was beginning to build distance so we had more war wolves surround him But Riven's power had grown. He broke free from our restraints, escaping our grasp. The war-torn landscape became a hunting ground. Riven stalked, killed, and fed. His strength grew with each fallen warrior. Our pack teetered on collapse. Allies turned against each other, fearful of Riven's wrath. The Shadowborn, sensing victory, pressed their advantage. Our pack's future hung in balance. In the midst of chaos, I realized the horrifying truth that though I already knew of but was unwilling to accept might be really here Riven, our Alpha, had become a Rogue. My Lover...has become a raging beast.. I turned to Kaida who I already settled with his hovering presence He didn't at first notice ,but he later did Before he smiled bitterly as he shook his head He must have thought thesame! Riven… Unpredictable, uncontrolled, and unstoppable. The Silver Moon pack's very existence trembled before the monster Riven had become. Mystic Lyra emerged, her eyes blazing with determination. "Riven, your rampage ends now." No! Don't hurt him”I screamed in madness As Kaida held onto me as I tried biting his chiseled flesh which was hard as steel, refusing to tear off But I didn't give up, I bit harder with fervour But it was…... useless Fiery orbs erupted from her staff as she partially transforms to draw strength, with orbs striking Riven. The air exploded, sending him flying. No..o I stuttered But.. As the Dust swirled, obscuring our view. A shadow materialized within the whirlpool. Riven stood, voice dripping with malice. "Is that all you got, eh? Old hag, you really think too much of yourself... Come and give me your bloodline. I'll make good use of it for you." Blood coating Riven's fur absorbed at an alarming rate, his body growing taller, thicker. His werewolf form transformed, hair glossy and flowing with scarlet gleams on them. Kaida eyes gave a dangerous glint as he watched, I felt compelled as I noticed this “Don't do something stupid”I said in panic not knowing who I was protecting in particular “Hmm” He turned to me and took a spot that would cover me at my front His broad shoulders shielding me from my Rogue Lover's wrath Riven didn't seem to notice this though As he faced off with the elders "Ah, this is real strength," Riven laughed, power surging. Elders Thorne, Kael, and Thian charged forward, but Riven's newfound power overwhelmed them. He battled and murdered, feeding on the fallen wolves' strength. Ho..w Riven snapped out…I know you can, you are fine! I Know! Screaming in my mind as fluid dripped from face Lyra's eyes narrowed. "Secret Art: Abyssal purifier!" A dark aura erupted, sending shivers down Riven's spine which was obvious to me with his feet taking a deep step back. The air grew thick with malevolent energy. Riven sneezed as he retreats on equal footings. "Not...good" The aura forced Riven to retreat. He fled, hunted by Lyra and the remaining elders. The Silver Moon pack's warriors, led by Lyra and the elders, hunted Riven through the mystical forest. His trail zigzagged, leaving false scents and misleading marks. "We're being toyed with," Lyra growled, her eyes narrowing. Riven's laughter echoed through the trees, followed by the sound of rushing water. The pack followed, only to find themselves at the edge of a treacherous ravine. "Spread out!" Elder Thorne shouted. "He's trying to divide us!" As they regrouped, Riven struck, taking down several warriors. His power grew with each fallen wolf. The chase continued, with Riven using every trick in the book. He conjured illusions, created decoy trails and even summoned a swarm of razor-winged bats. Finally, after what seemed like hours, the pack cornered Riven in a collapsed ruin. But all of this seem like a big game A Trap? I increased my caution and payed my environment some heed. And that was indeed a good idea as I can't help but tell it does strike as something familiar And not the good kind of familiars either "This is... the Azure Bloodstone Temple." I turned to Lyra whose gaze locked onto Riven's. "End this, Sylvania,"she said to me without turning But Riven merely smiled, his eyes gleaming with malevolence. "Too late." He spoke an incantation, and a dark magic circle materialized, enveloping the ruin. The air seemed to thicken, drawing the life force from the werewolves. "No...!" Lyra screamed. Warriors stumbled, their bodies drying up as their blood essence was sucked away. They crumbled, reduced to desiccated husks. I and Lyra stood at the edge, horror-stricken, as over a hundred wolves met their demise. Lyra's eyes snapped to Riven. "He's using the Forbidden Drain!" With a burst of speed,Kaida grabs me and puts me in a princess carry As we ran off not waiting to see What ends the horror.
