Author’s Note
Thank you for reading Murder and Macaroons, Murder and Macaroni and Iced Cookie Murder (the first three books of the Cannoli Cafe Mystery Series)! While the story and characters are fictional, a few elements of the story were inspired by my own life. For instance, like Nicole, my education was in the field of engineering. I also grew up and currently live in New Jersey, though Rosewood is certainly fictional. One last detail based on personal inspiration—my Italian-American grandparents’ black labrador was named Ringo!
While the aforementioned elements are true of my own life, the entire story and all the characters are fictional, and any coincidences to any particular events or anything else are just that—coincidental and fictional.
