Alpha Redemption

Chapter Five

In the morning, when Emily wakes up, she sees Alex sitting by the bed. He asks about her wellbeing and she tells him that she is fine. She asks Alex about what happened to her and he tells her that he had to save her life through some other way. Alex tells her about his family history and how his father was the alpha of the solar werewolf pack and how he grew up groomed to replace his father as the alpha but then he was framed for killing a she-wolf immediately after his father’s death which made him go on exile. He tells Emily that he couldn't see her die so he had to bite her and turn her into a werewolf.

Hearing this, Emily runs into the woods out of fear. In the woods, she gets to observe the changes in her body. She notices her heightened smell and hearing and also her increased speed and strength. She is confused as she is experiencing an influx of uncontrollable emotions. Alex comes and tells her that he would have never done this without her consent but he had to to save her life. She tells him that she understands his reasons but she would need some time to adjust.

Liam comes over to see Emily on their agreement but when he finds out that she has become a werewolf he knows that her loyalty will remain with the person who turned her so he backs off but tells Alex that he has to attack the solar pack and end the enmity or else they will continue attacking until he is dead. Alex agrees with him but tells him that he does not have the manpower to pull it off. Liam tells Alex of how he was wrongly accused of r**e by Sophia when he was still a young wolf because he found out that Ethan was not the son of Alex’s father, but the son of her lover. On hearing this, Alex becomes more infuriated because the name of his father was being mocked by Sophia and her dubious schemes so he and Liam agree to attack the solar pack

Maya goes to see Ethan at his mansion but on getting there, she is seized by Sophia’s men. They lead her to a room inside the mansion and lock the door.

Alex, Liam and Emily arrive at Alex's hometown, Princetown. As they move through the town, Alex notices how much the town has changed and how dejected and terrified the people are. Alex starts reminiscing aloud on how beautiful and lively Princetown used to be when he was growing up. Liam agrees with him, that under his father's watch, the town flourished and was peaceful. Liam tells them that they need to put a stop to the tyranny of Ethan and Sophia.

Sophia comes into the room to meet Maya. Maya asks her if this is how she treats her allies but she tells Maya that she doesn't trust her because she reminds Sophia of herself when she was younger, over ambitious and deceitful. Ethan comes into the room to question his mother on her decision to imprison Maya and she tells him that Maya is not trustworthy and a spy for Alex. Ethan disagrees with her but they are interrupted by their man who tells them that Alex has been spotted moving through town. Ethan now believes his mother and tells Maya that he is going to deal with her when he is done with Alex.

Alex and his group wait till it is night before they attack Ethan’s mansion. Before they attack, Ethan sends out a number of his men to go into the town and look for Alex. When the men leave, Alex and Liam transform to their werewolf form and attack the mansion while Emily snoops through the mansion.

As the fight gets heated, Sophia goes to where Maya is locked to kill her, but Maya who was hiding kills Sophia and escapes from the room. As she is trying to escape, she runs into Emily. She is surprised that Emily is still alive but then she is glad that Emily is going to be an easy kill for her but Emily starts transforming into a werewolf and this surprises her but then she also transforms and they start fighting.

Alex as a werewolf meets Ethan and Ethan transforms too and they start fighting but Alex is stronger than Ethan so he kills him. Emily also, luckily lands a deadly blow on Maya which kills her. When the members of the pack see that their alpha is dead, they turn to the werewolf that killed their alpha to lead them as is their way of life. Alex refuses but after being convinced by Liam and Emily who feel that he will do a great job bringing the pack and the town to its former glory, he accepts to be the alpha of the pack with Emily by his side.
