《Chapter 4》 Alaina hung up the phone. Her father was not answering her calls. She got her exboyfriend Ryan fired for doing drugs at her best friends party. He was history. She leaves her dad a voice mail letting him know that Ryan was not to get a last pay check either. She wanted him to pay for nearly attacking her at the club. She was not one to be messed with. And he would remember that! Alaina had plans with Michael later that night. She wondered how they were going to pull off this dating without Janet knowing. It really seemed to be impossible. But for Mike he could make anything possible. In all the years she had known him she knew this of him. He amazed every one that he met. Janet comes in her room to talk to her. Janet looked like she was getting ready to head out some place. Alaina hung up the phone. Giving up on contacting her dad. It was clear he was ignoring her. As he always did. He never had time for her. •✰︎• "What is going on with you?" asks Janet. "Tried to call my dad about what happened at the club to get that a*s fired!" mutters Alaina. "He is not answering you?" wonders Janet as she admires herself in Alaina's large mirror. "Nope!" sighs Alaina. "Want to go to the mall? Or to the beach? I want to do something fun" Janet asks her. "Me?! No, I have plans. But have fun tonight whatever you do" Alaina replies as she glances at her nails. "You have plans? What plans? You never told me you were doing anything tonight" Janet asks curiously. Alaina is blushing now. "I sort of have a little date" she mutters softly. "A date?! With someone? Anyone I know?" Janet asks her. Alaina shakes her head. "No, you do not know him. I met him at your....at your party. And he called me to make sure I was ok and then he asked me out on a date" Alaina says. That part was true. Michael did all those things. But he did not call her. He asked in person. She was not really lying. That much. "What is his name?" wonders Janet. "I would rather not say. Until things go well. See where they lead from tonight. Then I promise I will tell you everything if he is worth mentioning" Alaina laughs nervously. "That is unlike you. Normally you tell me everything. Now mystery man comes swooping in and you will not even tell me his name?" she asks her. "I do not know if I like this guy" "You will trust me. Once I know where I stand with him. And how tonight goes" promises Alaina. "Fine you better" Janet pouts. "I better get going. I do not want to be late" says Alaina. "But he is not picking you up here?" wonders Janet. "I do not want him to know where I live if the date does not work out" points out Alaina. "True fine. Go have your fun. But I expect details later" demands Janet. She hugs her. "and good luck. Go get him" she teases her. "I plan on it" says Alaina with a laugh. She winks at Janet before heading out. Now she was running a tad late to go over to Michael's place. She pulls in the drive way once the gates open for her allowing her to come inside. Then drives speeding down the long winding private drive way. Then she parks in front of Neverland. She comes to the door and walks in. Michael always let her walk in. Classical music was blaring on the speakers over head. •✰︎• "Michael?" she calls out. "I am here!" She sets her purple coach purse and her car keys on his little in table by the door there. Then looks around for him. No Michael in the living room. The dining room was all set up for a fancy dinner. There were roses set up on the table. She leans in smelling the beautiful red roses he bought for her. She smiles feeling pleased. "Michael?" she calls out again. No answer. She wanders in the kitchen. Something smelled really good. There was a cake setting out on the kitchen counter. A pink chiffon frosted cake setting out. And something was prepared on the stove. Covered up to keep warm. But no Michael. "Michael?" she calls out once more. She heads down the hall way to his bedroom. She sees the door was open. She spots him sprawled out on the bed. Resting his eyes a bit. He was all dressed up. Wearing black slacks and a very expensive blue button-up shirt. He looked so handsome there laying on his bed resting. She smiles at him. •✰︎• "Michael?" she softly says. She ruffles up his hair. His pretty brown eyes open glancing up at her. "Oh, how long was I napping? I am so sorry!" he exclaims, sitting up in bed. "Not long. I just got here. I was running a little late. Janet had a million questions as to what I was up to. She wanted to hang out and I told her that I could not" laughs Alaina. She sits on the bed with him. Leaning on his shoulder. "Dinner is ready. Come eat with me." he demands. "My pleasure" she agrees. He gets up off the bed. And holds her hand up to her to take. Then they head into the kitchen. He turns down the music that was blaring overhead. He baked chicken. Made parmesan noodles. And a salad with a side of breadsticks. •✰︎• "It all looks wonderful!" gushes a happy Alaina. "I made it all. Not my chef. I sent them home" he points out. "Oh, thank you" she gratefully says. "I am so happy" "Come have a seat" he orders. He leads the way to the dining room. He pulls the chair out for her to sit at the table. Then goes to bring dinner on the table. They enjoy a fantastic meal. "This is so fantastic" brags Alaina. "You really mean that?" wonders Michael. She nods as she helps herself to a second plate of noodles. "Oh, I do" she tells him. "I am glad you like it. Ready for dessert and coffee?" he offers. "Not quiet yet. I am stuffed" she laughs. "Come with me." he tells her. They head down to his dancing room. Where he practiced. "What are we doing here?" she wonders. He turns on the most romantic music. Then dims the lights. A light show sparkles hitting the mirrors he had in there. Then he wanders over to her with a happy smile on his face. He holds a hand out to her. "Want to dance?' he asks. "Certainly" she says as she nods yes. He pulls her into his embrace. Then dances slow to the music. Pressing her body close to his. She feels him hold her hand in his. Her other hand rests on his chest lightly. They smile at one another. She feels a loss for words. Then she rests her head on his shoulder. They sway to the music. This was turning out to be a fantastic date night. •✰︎• "I am sorry I can't take you on a proper date out in public. But I would take you to dinner and then dancing" he softly tells her. "I know Michael. This is perfect" she sighs happily. "Are you having a good time?" he asks her. "The best" she promises him. "I love that color light pink looks great on you" he says. "I love that dress on you" "It is Janet's. I borrowed it. And she did not notice" laughs Alaina. Michael chuckles. "It looks better on you" he teases. "I wish this night did not have to end yet. But it seems like it is going by fast" "It always does when you have fun" she reminds him. "I know" he sighs. He pulls her back. Her heart races. "Can I count on another date?" he asks her. She nods. "Of course" she says to him. "Great!" he tells her. He touches her chin with his fingers. Then his face inches closer to hers. Before she knows it his lips land on her lips. In a tender kiss. She smiles happily returning each kiss. "We better slow down or I won't be able to stop" he says as he stops the heavy kissing. They were moving fast on a first date. "Ready for dessert?" she asks. He nods. They go hand in hand back to the kitchen. He pours her a cup of coffee. Then dishes out cake for them. They share a piece. He feeds her cake. She giggles. •✰︎• "Want to go for a walk? It is nice outside?" he offers. "I would love to" she agrees once they polish the cake off. They head outside. They wander by the rides. Michael turns on the ferris wheel. He gets one of his workers to run the ride for them. Then has her hop in it with him. She leans into him as they sit on the ride together. They begin to go up. A light breeze hits her hair. "You look beautiful tonight, Alaina. I am glad you went out with me. I have wanted this to happen for a long time" he admits to her. "Me to Michael" she says to him. "I was to shy to bring it up for a long time" "I am glad we finally made our way to each other" he says to her. She nods yes. They ride stops up at the top. They overlook Neverland. It was so pretty. "Wow look at the view" she sighs happily. "A lovely view it is" he answers. But when she notices he was looking at her not at Neverland. She blushes now. "Michael" she giggles. He leans in and kisses her just as the ride begins to move once more. Ending a most magical night for them both. She could hardly wait for the next date to begin. ♡♪♬♪♡♪♬♪♡♪♬♪♡♪♬♪♡
