Niles's POV
I kept staring at the stone; my eyes turned yellow as rage was building up in me. I was supposed to be in the office by now. Claire had asked me to wait till tomorrow so she could tag along with me as she was having a shoot, but I couldn't wait.
I needed answers. Time was going by fast, and I'm sure my stepbrother wasn't sitting still wherever he was. He's also looking for ways, and the dragon blood would never be his. It's only mine to drink and to destroy, my brother, or whatever comes my way.
I took the stone and walked out of the room. I'll find that barrier myself and get what I want today.
Blackwood Forest is located on the outskirts of the city. It took me about thirty minutes, and that was because of the speed I used.
