He's sitting in the last row again. Headphones in, hoodie up. Same as yesterday. Same as last week. Same as... always. But today I see it... the way his finger taps on the desk like he's trying to anchor himself. I don't think anyone notices how tightly wound he is... Well except me. Remi Astrid just a normal girl who notices everything that's over looked and he... he's more than over looked. Turning to my seatmate Eva I smile, the smile I know she can't resist. "what's it now Remi?" she groaned "It's him, doesn't he seem strange today?" I asked tilting my head a little so I can watch him. " sorry to break it to you girl but the dude's always strange and I tell you this today, don't go looking for trouble where it's not" Who said I was? Being curious doesn't bite... does it? Cause this guy reeked of Get-Away-From-Me! might be the name of his cologne but to simply put, his aura was anything but warm. He was "miss Astrid you either listen to teach the class, what do you think?" You see that might sound like a question but I assure you teachers are sick in the head cause the moment you reply you get a detention so i shrugged. I'm not exactly a new student here in Walden High School however he is and I've never heard the gist of him, how could I not be curious... besides who always wears hoodie these days that's cringe... As if reading my thoughts, his gaze connects with mine and his red eyes pass a chill warning to me. Oh, did I forget to say... who ever had red eyes?! Anyways this's the 21st century, it is a contact lense. but still why red? I tilt my head again to the side and yep, he's still staring... am I doomed? "and that should conclude the class for today have a great day" mahn I heard not a word she said the whole class and although I don't look it, I'm not that bright... I mean who am I deceiving, I'm not bright at all... "Eva..." "I'll forward the notes to you bye" she seems to always read my mind however what she doesn't ever get is my curiosity for this guy, and I don't get it either but anyways... I'm always after what's in hiding, things I can't get, what I can't reach. that had always been me so I'm not surprising myself by obsessing over him it's perfectly normal. "miss Astrid..." "Come" I took his huge hand as he lead me to the edge of the cliff, I wasn't scared. he's brought me up from birth, now's not even a great time to kill me. The view over the cliff was great, but I had no interest in it there was something much more interesting than the damn cliff. "sit" I obey without as much as a grunt. Let the story unfold. Cassius was ambitious and I admired that, he owns -" " VRI i know, can you just skip the unnecessary details, I'm getting impatient" I cut in in one breath. I watch him watch the cloud with hooded eyes. " he's known to the public as a chronic womanizer..." "and he's not??" I cut in my curiosity getting the best of me. " sorry" I quickly add. " he is in a way, however he hides under the shadow of polygamy to acquire as much humans as he can be it his wife or child... now I don't know what he was aiming for but he couldn't get a male child out of the lot. I don't know the rest of the gist but if Kael is a child of valois then I suppose he's the only male... I don't know if this is true but I once heard rumors that he ran away... please don't go seeking for trouble where it's not stay away from the valois" Now that is a great story, however... what experiment was that??
