The Chase

After listening to James talk, I quickly jumped out of the bed to run to him "What do you think you are gonna do, I have already agreed to let you stay with me. Now don't make it harder for me than it already is."
He smiled and made me sit on the bed "I was just messing with you. I love to see the look on your face after I rile you up and I didn't call anyone."
I gritted my teeth "Now let me go, I have work to do."
"We will go in a while until then you take some rest, I will be back in just a few minutes."
"Where are you going now."
He didn't answer instead locked me in the room and went out. I knew I promised that he could stay with me but it was his fault this time to leave me alone. I was sure he had some security outside the door so I planed to escape through the window. I made sure that no one was there and then jumped off it and protected myself with a magic bubble before I hit the ground. I could well imagine his furious face after he would return to the empty room. It was not like I didn't want to stay with him, it was just the I didn't want to put his life in danger.
I had taken his car keys so I took his car and rushed it to the airport as there was still some time and I knew I could still make it before my flight left. After rushing the car, I finally made it on time and once I was on it I just prayed that it would fly before James could come and when it finally did, I heaved a sigh of relief.
A smile spread across my face as I was successful in escaping this time and then I relaxed in my seat and listened to music all through my journey. I didn't go to the place where I was supposed to go to make sure that James could not find me. I decided to stay at the place where we had a stop in between.
I found hotel that was not well know just to make sure that I was not seen anywhere by anyone and after reaching the room I finally decided to relax. It was already night time and I didn't feel like going out so I ordered room service and after having my food I went to take a shower.
I took a long and relaxing shower and then drying myself I came out in a bathrobe to spot James sitting in the middle of my bed. My heart skipped a few beats and this was the first time I was scared of a person who was not Cameron but it was a different kind of fear. Seeing me he began to take large strides towards me and my eyes fell on the window of the room.
I ran towards the window to jump out of it again but this time he was quick to catch my wrist. He twisted my wrist and turning me around, he pinned me to the wall and his voice was too dangerous, he was way too angry "Woman, you have some nerve trying to run away from me."
I struggled out of his grip but as usual it was useless and instead of answering him or talk to him I asked him the question that had been annoying me the most "How do you always find me, wherever I go intact this time I made sure to choose a place where no one could ever find me, how do you do it?"
He lowered his head and angrily placed a kiss on my lips, I had felt the passion, love and compassion in his previous kisses but right now he was venting out all his anger. He bit my lower lip hard until it was completely swollen and began to bleed, I wanted to cry in pain but he didn't give me a chance and his tongue pried my mouth open and with the help of it he pulled my tongue into his mouth and then bit my tongue.
At this moment he was completely consumed by anger and out of his senses, I wanted to use my magic to get rid of him but I could not do that too as he had one of my wrists twisted which was now turning numb with pain and the other was pinned above my head against the wall. Soon his fangs pierced my tongue and this time finally a sharp painful shout left my throat and hit his lips. My lips were now trembling and I just wanted to push him away but as much as I tried that, he kept pushing his body against mine making me loose my mind completely.
My painful voice brought him back to his senses and his lips and teeth finally left my mouth, tears flowed through my eyes due to the pain and I looked at him angrily that was when he finally spoke "I told you to be careful but you do every possible thing to rile me up. Your scent is completely different from every person on this earth, it is so appealing and inviting that anyone can find you and that means that no matter how hard you try, you can't escape from me."
I sucked my lower lip as it was swollen and painful, I tried to reduce my pain but it was of no use. He finally closed his eyes and let go of me saying in a low and forced tone "Go wear something."
I gulped but quickly ran from there with the thought that it would be dangerous if he changed his mind. I wore my regular jeans and a top with that and went to where he stood. He looked into my eyes and held my hands, his movements were now gentle "I have a solution for all your worries, I will stay by your side and protect you and you can't fall in love with me until this fight is over."
I didn't look him into his eyes and didn't say anything because my guilty conscience hit me and according to the way my heart started beating, I knew he must have figured out that something was wrong.
He came closer to me and placed an arm around my waist and with the other hand he lifted my chin up "Tell me what is wrong."
I looked into his eyes "Well now that I can't escape from you I might as well tell you the truth."
