He left before she could wake up, this was the biggest misfortune that could ever happen to her. What if she was awake, so what? What could she do? Exactly! Nothing. She couldn't even recognize him again if at all, she wanted to track him down and sue him. There was a light at the end of her tunnel, she saw a faint mark on the back of his neck. Not like she would see him anyway. ** A month of torture and embarrassment from her stepmom and sister. Her sister felt no remorse for destroying her relationship with Bryan. The trauma was so hard on her to accept, even seeing her sister every morning got her even more pissed. She'd always lock herself inside, soaked in tears, now it's not about her being cheated on, but the night she was r***d made life swipe away from her slowly... What did she expect anyway from her so called family, they cared less about her and even mocked her that she can't successfully keep a man. She comes back from work tired and exhausted every day. Even still, Stella and her Stepmom wastes time at the spa, chilling with Netflix. While she comes back tired, she still does all the house chores, doing their laundry and going to the store for them. She grew more sick, throwing up with barely any appetite. She started feeling symptoms of nausea whenever she smelled any food. She discarded whatever it was, it was obviously a normal girl illness. On a Sunday, she sneaked out to a doctor to get some medications for her stomach ache. She got them, but it was up to no effect. She went to a multipurpose hospital the next day. Standing in front of the hospital gate, her legs felt weak. When it was her turn, her name was called. After the test, she had to wait to get the results. When the nurse called her name again, her heart stopped. The doctor face was really tense and that scared her. All she needed to hear was she wasn't pregnant, if she was her life would be destroyed. “Are you Andrea…” She did not allow the doctor to complete her statement. “Yes I am.” “Don't freak out, but you have to listen to me.” 'Say whatever you want to say' Andrea wanted to scream out loud to the doctor. My eye caught three words as she opened up my file. “One month pregnant.” “s**t!” Andrea let out a muffled scream, could fate be more lenient on her. Tears came out in torrents. She felt like a dumping site to everyone who came into her life. From her stepmother, to her step-sister in an affair with her fiancée, to the worst part of it all. The man who took away her innocence and let her life come to a complete halt. “I'm… I'm going to be a mother…” Andrea sobbed, “Of a baby?” “That's not the worst part, dear” The doctor interrupted her. Andrea looked at her confused, “What do you mean by worst part?” “Miss Andrea, you are one month pregnant with triplets.” The doctor dropped the bombshell. Andrea froze on the spot, hearing the doctor's words. “What you mean, you must be joking, right?” Andrea chuckled, it was obviously a lie. Just a hospital prank. “I'm damn serious, ma'am.” The doctor cut in. “I'm sorry, I know this is hard on you, but you have to brace up and live a life, for your children.” The doctor advised. How could she be this careless, she was screwed. Andrea broke down completely, her life and career was ruined. Not a baby, not a twin, but triplets. She thanked the doctor, took some medications and left the hospital. What would she do about it? What would happen next? She knew for certain, this pregnancy had come this ruin her life. She dragged herself home like a corpse. “Where are you coming from?” Mrs. Lucia, Andrea stepmother asked, while reclining on a sofa with some Chips. Andrea rolled her eyes. She really didn't have time for them or any of their problems. “Went to get something's at the store.” “Oh I see. Why do you look so devastated? Had another breakup?” Mrs. Lucia jested. Andrea wished it was just a breakup. Plopping herself on her bed, she laid face down on the pillow and cried herself to sleep. *** Andrea woke up with harsh light beating into her eyes. Her head was pounding, she opened her eyes and shut the curtain to prevent the rays of sunlight from getting her blind. She slowly got up, groaning in pain because of the pounding headache. Staring at her reflection in the mirror, and the little bulge on her stomach. A hot bath could be a source of temporal relief. She filled the bath tub and got inside. Taking a bath always helped her relax and do some serious thinking. No matter how much she wanted to overlook it, Bryan had really hurt her. They've been seeing each other for over four years. She dipped herself further into the water. She had to get through this, if not for anyone, but for her kids. She knew just one person to call. Once she was out of the shower, she rang him up. “Bryan. " “Andrea, is everything okay?” “Far from it, Daniel. I wish I were okay.” “Shh! It's okay.” He reassured. “What happened.” “I'm pregnant.” She dropped the bombshell, then she relayed everything to him. **** Few months after her call with Bryan, she left her city to a temporal maternity hospital. She was at the verge of adoption, but the doctor picked a liking to Andrea and encouraged her everyday. “Keep them Andrea. They're yours. You have no idea how much joy the child could bring.” The doctor advised her. Her relationship with Bryan was still intact, his constant calls and checking up on her really touched her heart. And now she was going to get this damned triplets out of her womb. “You can do this.” The doctor yelled as she was wheeled into the maternity ward. Veins protruded through her neck as a flash of light struck her eyes. She shook her head in a pool of her tears. “Push” The doctor urged. “I can't. I can't.” “Yes, Andrea, you can. One more minute of pain for a lifetime of happiness.” Andrea let out the most thunderous yell she could muster as she pushed with all her might, bringing three little cuties into this unfair world.
