**one year later.** She can't believe this… She can't believe she is actually living through. Six years ago, she had gotten pregnant, it was difficult for Andrea, learning everything from the scratch just to provide for these little kids given to her by an unknown man. Her kids have literally become her whole life, she won't let anyone hurt her prides. She started as a waiter. When she went to work, she drops her children at the nanny's house, or vice versa. She had bill to pay, negative balance was in all her bank accounts. She searched for jobs for Weeks, but she couldn't find one. “It is time to go back to Hilton.” She said to herself one morning after making her kids breakfast. Packing her kids clothes and belongings, although just a few, she boarded a flight back to her home city. The city that broke her beyond repairs. She wasn't sure if she had changed from being at the mercy of others to being independent. They got an apartment in a cheap and kind of local estate. She jobs searched for weeks on a low-key. She tried to keep it low-key to avoid being seen by her stepmother and sister. Her triplets were all heavenly and beautiful. Two boys and a girl. They all had the same physical features except the first boy who had blue eyes, while the rest has their mother's forest green eyes. The boy surely took after his father. After making breakfast for them, feeding them with their rightful proportion or vitamin, she dropped them at the day care and drove to the interview she had received yesterday. An hour after tucking the children to sleep, she received an email from Mart's international company. There was a vacant post, the personal assistant to the CEO. She sighed. In normal circumstances she would have rejected the offer, but her hands were tied. She could not use her past relationships to destroy and deny her children of what they need. The second she arrived at the company, her heart constricted tightly. It wasn't clear to her why, but every step she took made her more uneasy. “Hello, are you Miss Andrea Ryder?” The receptionist greeted cheerfully. “Yes I am. Pleasant morning to you.” She smiled back. “Unfortunately…” Andrea's heart sank, must there be an unfortunate story in her life, her mind had already travelled miles on how to secure another job. “The interview personnel called in sick, you would therefore be interviewed by the CEO himself.” Andrea froze. From what she saw about the CEO, he was ruthless and really heartless. The news had it that he sacked his previous PA. She instantly became self-conscious of what she was wearing. She had never had a close contact with any man ever since her V card was taken by a ruthless man. If heavens were gracious to her and gave her one more chance to see the i***t who defiled her. God!! How she would kill him. She looked around for an empty seat and finally found one next to a girl applying some lipstick. She looked at Andrea and shrugged. Andrea sat next to her and waited for her name to be called. After what seemed like forever, she heard her name being called. “Ms. Andrea?” She got off her seat and felt her ass numb from sitting for so long. When she reached the door that the letter CEO boldly written in gold. She knocked softly, a deep grumpy voice answered. “Come in.” She walked confidently inside and saw a giant office, it looked not only expensive but extremely cliché. The office room wasn't the only beautiful and darkly exquisite, she was graced with the presence of a very handsome devil. She ogled at him in awe. She quickly averted her eyes, not wanting to be caught drooling over her boss. “Andrea Ryder, a pleasure to be your personal assistant.” “Take a seat,” he replied coldly. She withdrew her hands, she didn't know why, but something about this man irked her and made her unnecessarily angry. “Not pleasant to cut off a greeting.” She mumbled as she took a seat. “Did you say something?” The handsomely devil asked her foolishly. “Of course I did!!” She retorted sharply. “I can't be an assistant to a person who is rude and cold.” The CEO looked at her intently, his mouth quirked in surprise. Maybe she didn't read about it, she doesn't know him. “Do you know who I am?” He asked rather coldly. Andrea rolled her eyes. “Of course I do! The ruthless CEO of the Marts company.” She shouted back. The CEO was in a good mood, instead of being angry at her, he found her rather intriguing. Something about her seemed too familiar. “Give me a quick summary of everything you've achieved, and not blocking my precious ears with your baseless ranting.” She scoffed, she was ranting, really? “Well, I have a master’s degree in business and I studied finance, so I can deal with any types of investments and money management the company makes.” “Impressive.” She scoffed. Why wouldn't it be impressive, after all her qualifications were the only good thing about her. “Do you speak any other languages?” “I can speak Spanish and a little bit of French.” “You're Spanish?” “From my knowledge on business, that question is not essential.” She shot back. “It's not business related.” The CEO sighed deeply. “You're hired.” He announced. “Because of your qualification, you have an awful attitude I must say, Miss Andrea.” “Thanks for your time, Mr.?” “Mr. Edward Mart…” “Mr. Edward Mart, nice meeting you.” “You resume now ?” “Now?!!” “Yea.” “Argh.” She moaned lightly. Edward snapped his head in shock to her. That sounded way too familiar, that moan. Him “Why are you still standing, get me coffee.” She scurried out of the office and met the receptionist. “I was asked to see you. Mr. Mart said you can show me my office.” I said, walking towards her. “Okay. I'm Juliana, and you're Andrea.” She greeted. “I must say, you're really beautiful.” She dropped Mr. Mart's coffee on his table, slouching to pick up the coffee, Andrea spotted a sign at the back of his neck. What was that? Why did this devil feel so familiar?
