I keep having a funny thought about the murdered Indians in Globe. I hear the ME telling me the last victim’s arm was badly bruised and that there was no alcohol in his system. Suppose whoever attacked him thought this was just another drunk Indian, and we will roll him for a few bucks. Doesn’t seem reason enough to fight so hard. Maybe he was wearing a nice silver and turquoise bracelet, or perhaps that red stone, red jasper, they use. One of those big things that the Indians make on the reservation and sell. It might even have been a gift from a girlfriend or family member, which is why he fought so hard to keep it.
