CHAPTER SIXTY-SIX SEPTEMBER 1, 9 AM ARIZONA REPUBLIC NEWSPAPER I return to my daily life as a news reporter and move forward with my hunch about Jimmy Doe and the bracelet and a couple of young thugs in Globe robbing Indians. I share the information with the captain once again, who says he will investigate it, but the murders in Globe are the responsibility of the local sheriff there. The case of the church robbery is still pending a court date. It has dragged on for months and perhaps months more before it comes to court, and a final decision comes down. The Phoenix police department is developing more evidence as time goes by. I’ll have to dig up some new stories for the paper. Maybe review some of those cold cases. This evening at home, I get some distressing news from Blondie. B
